I think the 5 droids in datapad limit is rediculous. I have a character on flurry that likes to collect and show off his droids that he buys whilst he performs elvis. I was looking foward to eventually owning all droids for show but now it seems like this is impossible. I dont see any reasoning behind this limit if we can only have one out at a time (which is also lame).

G.Can friends of the droid use the droid's modules? Or just the owner? (Note that you can use crafting modules by being near ANY droid with one, regardless of your relationship with the owner)


i tested this with a friend, if a droid is out with a crafting station it has an area of effect just like a home crafting station. lost the ability to craft adv parts cause my friends r4 got to close to me, it had a clothing craft mod.

Droids to seem to travel with you when you hit the shuttle ports now. Mine always goes back into my datapad. Was this a recent change?


This has been observed for a while. The real test is to see if droid actually goes into the datapad or if you can just call it again once you get to the new location. What used to happen is the droid would stick around at the old shuttleport, but you didn't have to store it once you reached your destination, you could just call it, and it would 'teleport' to you from wherever it was. To test this, call your droid before taking the shuttle and have someone watch it when you get on the shuttle to see what happens.

Thanks Gron, butthe issue you quote already says that you can use crafting modules from any droid. As for the multiple crafting field issue, we've tested that one to death. That's what causes multiple crafting modules in a single droid to break all the crafting modules... the fields overlap. At least we know it still works this way and hasn't changed recently.
