Err, i have made quadruple since the last patch than I have made in all the months prior with these new utility droids. I can hardly keep up with a lot of the models I have been making. Droid decay in a realistic manner would add a ton to these sales even more.
I am not against big battle type droids, but to be real if they don't add in droid decay we would be in the same boat with those even faster than the utility droids. With battle droids we would be even more limited to the people we could sell too.

I guess it's time to add my name to the flames
. I have to agree that the utility moduals were a much better idea then combat. Sorry but I might sell 1 or 2 combat a week even my really low end combaters for newbies don't sell that well. But I can easily sell anywhere from 4 to 6 of the various new and utility droids a day. LOL and I can't keep the droid healing kits and customization kits in stock.

Well things may look up for the space expansion as well. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard rumour that some ships will benefit from having certain kinds of droids on board. Perhaps they will give us some "navigation" modules or something.
In any case, I have to say that my business has picked up about 1000% since Publishes 7 & 8. I'm grateful that the devs paid as much attention that they did to our profession after all our complaining.
Having said that, I think it's unfortunate that the devs have to cluster their resources to get the major projects done. It would be nice if each profession had dev resources constantly devoted to it, with updates & improvements included in every publish. Instead, it seems that maintenance to the professions are being put in rotation, and a profession can expect lengthy delays for their dev to respawn. Surely LucasArts & Sony can hire a few more guys.
Anyway, that's just my two credits. I still love the game, and I still love where it's going. I just hope us Droid Engineers (or any other profession) don't have to wait another 10 publishes to see anything from our wishlist.

P.S. - Binary Loadlifters still don't lift anything, Repair Droids still don't repair anything, Surgical Droids have less surgical skill than R3 droids. Protocol droids still can't liaise, our Probot droids can't probe anything, and R2 droids still can't slice or hack anything. We're still way far off from being anywhere consistent with the Star Wars movie universe.
