The QA team has the exact description on how to reproduce both of the Maintenance Module bugs that I am aware of. I worked with QA a few times on hammering out the information on both bugs, so its only a matter of time before the DEVs are able to put this bug fix into the line up.

I honestly doubt we will see anything with this soon, the bugs with the maint module still exist, and they would need to fix those as well.

Knowing how they work and break isn't the same thing as identifying the borked code and fixing it.
I know we tracked down the problem from a UI point of view and even why it happens, but we have no clue how that fits into the coding. If it was easy, it would probably have been fixed.

That full structure control module would be nice.
Babying my harvisters costs me 2-4 hours a week and thet module could save me 2 of those hours. Heck, a module that just got a status report for each of my harvisters would save me half an hour of pointless running around.
I'll see if I can think of any short term ideas but I'm having trouble thinking of any that haven't been suggested before.
I have to agree. The latest patches have been focused on getting more quality "playing" time out of SWG. This has to be an issue with most crafters, although we have come to accept it as the price we pay for our professions' resource demands. I think this may take form in oneway or another. It may come in the form of emails or it could get incorporated into a new/refurbished module, who knows. I definatly think that the Survey droid abilities will need to get boosted.
The possibilities are impressive right now. I haven't been this excited about SWG since I bought it.

I believe the house keeps a master list of everything in it, otherwise the code to bring items to the maintenance terminal and destroy all items in a house would be a lot more complicated than it needs to be. My guess is no one thought of putting it in an interface.
Hmmm I honestly don't know. I always "thought" it just kept track of how many "items" there were then cycled Item #1 to the terminal, then #2, then #3 and so on. I don't know if it actually knows or cares what each item is.
You could be right though, I just don't know. Heh, how big of geeks are we to actually think about that stuff.

Its not geeky when your paid to do it.
Well it is, but as with any insanity, if you have money its acceptable.
Heh yea, I do that all for the Navy as well, but it's a game dangit, we shouldn't be thinking about how the house keeps tracks of items. Lol well not as were playing at least if there are no problems.
