Actually, stimpack dispensor modules have two lines of experimentation, one for quantity of stims held, and one for healing speed.

So the overall quality of the resources used doesn't make a difference either?

Resource quality only matters if you have a component that needs to be experimented on.
Item storage mods, Detonation mods, Medical mods, Droid deeds (HAM Value) etc.
As has been noted, subcomponents have not been proven to need to be experimented on and therefore grind quality resources could be used.
Example: Droid sensor package, droid motive system, Advanced droid brains, etc.
