Ok, they said prolly publish 7 or 8 they will do new combatdroids. Im hoping for publish 7-check tthe test center and see if they are doing em yet. that will clue you in as to how soon.

The short version of what we understand is that:

- Publish 7 will likely be fixes (via Gorantoth's thread) and possibly some new combat modules for existing droid types.

- Publish 8 will now see 'utility'/service droids (for non-combat roles) and still more fixes/tweaks.


Droidekas count as higher level combat droids and wouldn't ever see the light of day unless the "Droid Commander" profession gets off the ground. Right now, having a new profession appears to be the only way that truly powerful (>CL10) combat droids will get into the game.


We all want them in-game....but we're gonna have to wait for awhile, unfortunately.
