MAKE DROID REPAIR MODULES WORK
GIVE THE LOAD LIFTER A PURPOSE
MAKE ITEM STORAGE MODULES WORK IN SURGICAL DROIDS.

JUST FIX THESE THREE, WHY THE FIRST AND LAST WERE NOT FIXED IN THIS PUBLISH IS BEYOND ME.

I rather liked the suggestion of a bomb module for a MSE. I think it amusing if an overt entertainer had one sitting in the corner waiting for an opposite overt to walk in and start hassling. It would have to be a big enough bomb to one-shot kill frequently if the target was without armour or heavy buffs.

A battle droid with 200-500 HAM, but DPS at the level of a Novice Pistoleer w/DX2 that would be a useful guard for those absorbed in field work. Useless as a tank, but it would kill what was attacking you. It really ought to keep up with (or ride in) a vehicle.

There really isn't much else to look for in combat droids or modules at LV10 or below, though it would be nice ifsome droidcould be scaled up to the level of a good BE non-ch pet tank. A probot isn't very competitive with a 3k HAM pet with ranged and 2 special attacks. The DE equivalent should be equally hard to build (really hard!).

That's about the best the Dev's can do within the scope of what they have said, but they could suprise us.

Plenty of bug fixes left to do that might fill out a Droid Invasion, the lack of deed visibility of the functionality built in is a big one -- a DE has to be trusted about what is inside that deed on a vendor or the bazaar today. That really hurts sales.

1. Module Listings in the descriptions of the droid deeds, and a better way for droid engineer customers to understand what's available without becoming droid engineers themselves. Perhaps a droid module that contains all crafting modules with a limited success rate.

2. Droid module that picks up my items from other planets when I win an auction. (This takes almost no coding if the droid would just "disappear" or go visit a pick up point for some sort droid-only Fed-Ex and return with my auction wins in storage modules.)

3. More droids that I'd like to keep around as pets that could store notes or reminders. (A droid that would remind me when the shuttle was landing in my player city would be possible even through the current player system at some level).

4. More Droids that hover and are still useful (1 module slot in that little thing that shot at Luke while he practiced 'saber would be awesome and easy to model). Okay, even the BLL needs to be able to bring the resources from the harvester and put them in my house or do something related to load-lifting.

5. a reason to have my droid pulled at almost all times, so that master droid engineers pulling two or three will be awesome. Perhaps having more than one droid interact with the presence of the second droid, meaning a power droid and a protocol droid could say function as high-success rate repair kits.

Let me tell you this, we absolutely LOVE our jobs. And we LOVE this game. We are dedicated to doing whatever we can to enhance your play experience. 4. A roger roger droid.

I'd be happy with these five, especially 2 and 5. 5 would go a long way to making Droids more useful and helping to create player content.

I'd also like to see an entertainer module that lets them heal outside of Cantinas, like the medical modules do (a "boom box", so to speak), and waypoints allowed in datapad (a big request - maybe make it a "navigation storage unit").

In my wildest dream-land they finally come through on the promise of a TRUE surgical droid that can heal you - using consumables only available from medics, of course.

Since the initial statement is that publish 7 will be introducing combat droids i am hoping to see at least EVERY combat droid implemented

Battle Droids

Super Battledroids

Droidekas

IG series

Hell id even like to see dropped schematics that details how to make some of the droids found in Knights of the Old Republic ("lost droids" if you will) where the reason for having the droid is the prestige of having a droid noone else has even if its not as good as the latest models.

You know we are limitid to CL10 combat droids, dont you?

Personally I dont care at all about combat droids. The minimum stuff I would like to see in the next patch is:

  • Make Adv BLL and Adv protocol real suefull: two cluter modules for both

  • Make BLL and protocol usefull: at least three modules for both

  • The ability to call out two utility droids for us DEs

  • Experimentation working

I'm sorry, this thread is just too constructive to see float down the list so much...

I'd like a DE quest to keep me occupied while they get the rest of the damn thing together.

See, I'd actually like this taken a bit further.

I don't care so much how many slots it can have - I'd really, really like to see the BLL have a useful function all of it's own.

I was moving this weekend, and man, it's a *self-edit*. It would be really nice if a BLL could somehow hold more items than a level 6 storage module - either allowing it to exceed the cap of 10 items (say, 20 or 25), or with a more complicated BLL-specific system for transporting large amounts of items.

Examplesof this would be : it can hold 30 items, but ONLY in factory crates, or it can hold some insane amount (say 50) for either a specified time or other tangible duration to facilitate the one-time move of objects with other limitations like "all items must be removed at the same time".

Not only is the BLL asthetically challenged compared to it's current function, but doing something like this (either just allowing some additional stacking of modules or an entirely unique to BLL storage system), would fill several game needs and DE requests :

  • Inherent/appropriate/Star-Warsy individual Frame function (it would be a start)

  • The problem anyone has when trying to move from one planet to another, either with inventory for vendor stocks or people who move/would like to move frequently yet don't because of inherent limitations. For example, moving a bank from one planet to another, while it shouldn't be EASY, could be made a bit more bareable. Right now it requires you to do gymnastics with your inventory and backpacks, and the calling/storage of every droid in your datapad (if you in fact have four with item storage) is a lot of clicking ina usually lag-filled city. If somehow I could fill up a BLL with 1/2 my bank in a few clicks, I'd still have to wait for the starship, still have to do the leg work - just not the endless clicking.

  • Could create entirely new player transport jobs (i.e. people who are hired as "movers"), which will hopefully become more important after the "crackdown" and even looking into the Space Expansion. The same way I'm hoping we'll get "uber" factories soon that are the "Heavy" version to our "Personal" factories now that can handle real volume, we are also going to need a way to transport all that stuff. I did a run of 700-800 Probots last week - and dang, do the math - that's more than 150 crates I have to deal with now. Just getting them to the vendors was a *self-edit*. I'd love to have hired someone to just move them for me - in some sort of secure way.

There are endless ways it could be done, maybe making it a time sink (it takes 5 sec for the BLL to unload each crate into your house/bank/vendor) - like a factory, it wouldn't especially speed things up but reduce the amount of needless clicking.

It's not a "challenge" to have mundane tasks like this in game, it's a pain - and giving us CTS.

I'm hoping since they didn't fix the regular BLL yet that something like this is coming - and the Adv will just have the same feature with the additional module slots.

well,i am giving up to askfor huge fixes for us, i still got hopes tho.

here my minor and easy to make changes i would like to see, that shouldnt be a hard work for the devs but would at least bring some more fun into this profession until they really can fix the major issues

1. remove or extend by large amount (maybe 1000 calls) the fading of customisation

2. make droids personality chips work like example stormtroopers, let the droid say ocasionally something stupif, geeky etc

3. give us chassis which we can display for every possible droid we can craft, aka mouses, treatwells and such

4. let the battery not be used up that fast

5. well prolly to much to ask, but imo its silly that our highest droids can hold only 1 module, pls ad some more modules to the BLL and protocol droid, thats our master items and they are crappier on function then an adv. mouse. sorry but thats silly

hope you listen to the DEs, we are so patient over a so long time, we earn some more candy

regards
