Thread: Price Check on advanced Probots
I sell em with 40% medium armor, 25k. I sell them as fast as I make them - usually about 10 a day.
Haley Kurai, Master Droid Engineer
Base (no armor or modules its) 8900 crs
Armor Module 3 +800 (per module)
Armor Module 4 +1600 (per module)
Repair Module +1500
so 13,600 crs for adv with 2xLvl4 Armor and a repair module
Some can't build armor lvl6 yet so they gotta go that route.. (maxes out at 2 lvl 4 armors) ALso without a repair modules wounds can't be healed, self healing (or so they say) so Advanced has some benifits compared to a normal.. And ---IF--- they add wepons modules.. (upgrade your damage, that is a very very big IF)
The Droid still die as of today tuesday the 2nd of sept. When will we get some unnerfing?

If I sell an adavnced probot like this one:
- Droid Repair Module
- Medical-6
- 2 x Armor-6 (I realize that currently Armor-4 maxes it out, but, I put it in just in case the rules change again)
I charge 15k. In fact, I charge 15k for any advanced probot.
The difference between the armors is noticed when you are crafting a droid with one one Armor Slot.
Some of you charge less than 10k for the droids, I think thats fine, but not for me. I'd like to remain in the business for a long time. I don't ever want to log in to the game only to be blasted by tells and orders as though this was my RL second job.
My server, Scylla, has already lost two master weaponsmiths, that I know of. They quit the trade because of tells and excessive demand. I suspect (and hope) that they will add the kind of droids and droid functions that create some form of demand beyond mere novelty for droids. When and if they do I refuse to be hounded out of business by the demands of other players, I will place the price for my droids slightly higher than the market will bear and my permanent AFK message will say something to the effect of "orders and CS by email only".
Just my 2cr on the issue.
8K for a unloaded Adv Probot with 2 LvL 4 armours

I spoke with a Master DE on my server last night who sells Advanced Probots (no service modules), 25 at a time, on the bazaar in Coronet. He does sell them for the max of 3k.
Bascally, he justifies selling them for this cheap because they are crap. And, really, they are. He really wished it were otherwise, because it has been his experience that people just wont pay much more for them. Especially when you can stand there and buy, in the very same bank of Coronet, a trainedanimal pet fromaCreature Handler that is way more robust. He and speculate that even with his low, low price, his sales will drop off now that permadeath is gone.... just what implications does thatmaketoyou?
Seems to me that the only way to really make money crafting anything in this game is if what you are selling is disposable. Our cheap Probot selling friend here said he brought in 60K a day from his bazaar sales of Probots. As he was nice, I tend to believe that. People sell lots of probes and seekers and MSE, because they are so cheap that they are disposable. But really, once an R unit is sold we haven't any way to generate income from that player again...
In the end, people like our friend the cheap Probot seller will devalue the price of the useless probot to such a degree that people will laugh in your face for asking more for one. That's fine, it is usless, but I'm sure not going to spend my time making them to sell them at loss....

I'm sorry, but I have to say: no amount of money is worth crafting 30-40 advanced probots a day.
I sell my advanced with 2x ar4 and repair modules for around 23k, and make a lot more than 60k a day.
I sit down and grind out 20-30 probots once a week, couldnt stand to do it anymore than that, there ARE other things in this game to see/do.

I sell the following configuration quite well:
ADV Probot, 2x ar6 (ya I know, but 2x sounds so much better, and some day maye it will be), 2x med6 (again 2x med4 will do the same thing), 2x item4, 1x data5 (stopping this once current supply of data5 modules is gone), and 1 of the various craft stations.
price 25k
just for reference I have been doing a lot of hunting with a spindleflap handmaiden lvl15 non-ch pet and my ADV probot with lvl6 armor, and the probot is no match for the handmaiden, in almost every situation. The maiden can take way more punishment and deals out roughly 3 times the damage.
Now you should be wondering what I paid for the pet, right?
heh I traded an ADV probot with lvl6 armor, lol
My thoughts on the new droids, Trade Federatoion BattleDroid (equal to the best lvl15 creature in terms of HAM and DMG, roger roger) for the general population, 3 simulaneously callabledroidekas for the Master DEs Only. Oh the CHs are gonna love that one...
