Actually the numbers aren't that staggering, just awesome! Here they are:

xp needed for one skill tree (intermed to master, 4 levels) = 307,200.

advanced droid frames (once you reach blueprints II) gives 460 xp for each frame.

advanced droid frames are 70 fiberplast and 150 steel

Assuming no critical failures, that means you must craft 668 ADFs per skill tree.

Steel - 668 X 150 =100.2 k

Fiberplast - 668 X 70 = 46.76 k

To complete all four then requires 400k steel and 200 k fiberplast (round numbers) realizing this doesn't count for the mde's you had to craft to get to blueprints II.

That's a lot of resouces just to grind.
