By all accounts this meeting was not nearly as productive as most of our other meetings. There are/were influences which dictated it go in various directions that were not necessarily useful to the general population. Also, it was scheduled with the hope that they'd have released more information to us by this point. Lastly, this meeting wasmainly called simply because we had to. We've been delaying it for over a month now, so something had to be shown to be done.

But without new information, we can only say so much. We have heard as much as you throughout all this, so without anything new to discuss we can only cover the same old topics. Sadly that dominated the first half of the meeting.

Now, excuses aside, I think we all learned a very valuable lesson last night: Don't try and race BLLs! That was a hopeless failure. The first time I shouted "GO" all but one of them stood there with the 'low power' msg above their heads. The last one happily plowed onwards, all alone.

Second time round was even better. 2 of them stood there while several took fof in the wrong direction. It was at that point that we gave up and turned towards the meeting.

I'd say it was only fitting that even in having fun, DE is broken. Still, funniest thing I'd seen as yet. Such a pity my screenshots didn't take for some reason.

Keep in mind, this is like the 9th such meeting the Woodrow and I have organized.

I know, I've been to all but one of them. Missed that one because I was out of town on vacation. Even a Master Droid Engineer deserves a vacation once in a while!

If the rumor is true and there was a Dev at the meeting, then that just proves how significant of an event something like this is. You guys have done a great job and we're finally being noticed!

Spoke too soon Kollos If TH was about he would have seen the overall majority vote against the Droid Handler class.

On this note though, I guess we did not have as much time as I had thought. If you're still wondering what those secret unmentioned things were, I had gotten the feeling that they'd be eventually instituting the droid handler class, and as such thought it'd be prudent to get a Dev witnessing the entire community speaking against the idea.

Guess I'll try and act faster and better next time, and for all that I apologise.

The reason not touse test is because it is TEST. Its not guaranteed to be there, and actually, as i recall, the last scheduled interserver meeting Test was down that day.

I would say the non-interserver meetings are more useful, since it deals with very server specific issues. Helping new DE's, pricing comparisons, etc. Still its good to have everyone together. Remember we were hoping to discuss "the droid invasion" and patch 6 at this meeting, but the lack of information killed that.

I dont know which dev was there, but if it was Thunderheart, he deserves to be drawn and quartered to come away from that meeting with the idea we want to have a Droid Handler class.
