Thread: *Low Power*
I hate this low power thing. Everyone assumes that only DE's can make batteries, and I never wanted to waste my resources on them. Now I've got orders for crates of batteries coming in left and right.
I'm a Droid Engineer, not Droid Energizer!
Maybe they should allow you to stick a crate of batteries in the droid and not have to worry about it for a while.

DE definitely has the highest percentage of smart-asses.
The sense of humor probably helps us cope. 
I can see it now though.....
The Mon Calamarian DE places an exploding module...6 of them actually...in an R5 andsets droid down.
He points to the closest test mob...a poor helpless Durniand tells it to wheel up to it. The Green and Aqua R5 emits a *low power* message.
"WHAT?!?! I just gave you a battery when I called you!"
The Mon fumbles with the storage hatch and places another battery into the powersource socket. Gently, he closes the hatch and again tells it to go up to the durni. A few quick twitters and beeps and the R5 rolls over to the durni and stops.
While watching from the cropping of rock to deflect the explosion, the Fish waits patiently. 5 minutes pass and still no boom.
'Hmm.' He thinks to himself. 'I programmed it to explode so why isn't it?'
'Ahh! Maybe it's meant only for the MSE chasis!'
Quickly he crafts out the MSE and drops in an exploding bomb module. He tells it to stand next to the R5 and gets the tell tale *low power* msg from the MSE. Annoyed he drops in a power cell and sends it off again. Shrilling all the way, the MSE stands next to the durni and the R5.
Grinning at the thought of it working, he waits.
The MSE twitters a few times.
The Durni sniffs it a few times.
The MSE twitters some more.
The Durni hops around it in circles.
Still no explosion but it seems the durni has a new friend. The Fish stands up and calls the R5 back to him.
*low power*.
"WHAT!?!?! I just gave you one!" Grinding his teeth the DE moves to the R5 and gives it a fresh battery. He looks down to call the MSE back to store it and sees it wandering off with the durni. He issues the command for it to stop but the durni looks back over and says *low power* while the MSE drops into the durni lair twittering and emitting shrill beeps that sound a lot like laughter.
Not to be outdone, he calls forth is latest Attack Droid...the WED Treadwell with a combat module and an astonshing HAM of 25 from the recent stealth nerf during the patchthat made the exploding modules go live. He orders it forth to the kill everything in the lair. After dropping abattery into it after it's *low power* message, he again orders it to kill the durni's of the lair and moves to check on the R5.
With quick speed, a durni baby unleashes death in the form of two kicks to the Treadwell. Hearing what sounds like a giggle, the DE turns to see his droid fall. The baby twitches it's nose and heads into the lair.
In shock the Mon Calamari stares at the last bit of fur from the durni's tail as it drops into the lair too. Looking at the R5 in disgust he says, "Store". It's the last anyone sees of the Mon Calamari as the R5 suddenly blows up.
To this day, we can still hear *low power* emitting from durni lair's

I'm am actually crying from the ring of truth and trying to keep from galing into laughter at the top of my lungs!!!!
