crap sorry hit post accidentally... ugh basically what i am saying is i love being a de... just with nothing new it's getting harder and harder to stay focused.
I mean wookies get armor and non-humans get to be imps... but i keep forgetting that this isn't star wars, it's online star wars...

You know TK what i think would be great....If as a community we could put together some new ideas, given the latest development, have some agreement (which we have done in the past), and get a live chat going with one of the DEVs or at least someone at SOE.
It seems like all the other live chats that happen skirt the issue of droids and focus solely what they think is positive about them. That is fine but then the chats usually devolve into the new Jedi revamp or how cool the Corvette is going to be. As screwed up as this profession has been and pretty much still is, and as many people seem to be dropping it (me included) or very unhappy, couldnt someone over there spend an hour of their precious time to give some real live feedback to the DEs. Crap I spend hours every week helping some newb figure out the basics of the game, and I dont mind it in the least. This is our game, our money, we are there clients, and we stay because we love the game and want it to get better. Heck aside from the occasional bugs and crap I think this game is still one of the best out there.
Now I know a live chat would have to be moderated and under control, but put aside all the angst and unhappiness on this forum and you have a lot of mature people who just want to see good things for this profession. Cant they spare that little bit of their lives....can't they go the extra mile for the client?

Well, ya...of course. I don't want all of the red-names in here all the time (but on occassion for the threads that 'count' towards important issues). They need to be doing their respective things. TH usually pulls them over to the Corr. boards when they need to get into the middle of something.

Yea...maybe they do. /shrug Even if that was the case, I'm sure none of us would ever find out for sure, I suspect. I don't think that's what is really happening. I think they WANT to have the best possible CL10+ implementation, assuming that it balances the best for the overall game. If that's DC, then it is....plain and simple.

I know you (all, likely) want this...but I can tell that they are done with it and moving on.They have other major items to stay on top of and I guarantee they don't want to have to explain themselves over and over (regardless of details). If they say it won't balance, then that's that. SWG is their baby...and they are always going to make the final call. In this case,what was put forth wasn't strong enough for them apparently.

I don't. I want them working on fixing stuff and building stuff. Yes, it would take only a small amount of time from his/her day. However, that's time when stuff can be getting done.

I'm not trying to do either, Shian. As of my last few posts, I'm getting a bit on the tired and cranky side. Gotta crash...it's been a long and nutty day. If you took offense, you know I don't mean it.
Okay...well, there are cases where I can rant/flame with the best. I've off that 'kick' for a bit now and I'm starting to not recognize when the monster slips out.
I can only state that I look forward to being able to continue getting info back to you on anything/everything ASAP.

The whole "Condoms break, deal with it!" way of looking at the hybrid proposal isnt helping. We have a learning experiance here. As of now we know what else [i]Dosent[/i] work which is alot to learn in one day, but if only we had the exact reason why, we would have a better chance of building the next set of ideas. Of coarse the hybrid idea is dead and gone, but its anything but pointless to drop the subject. When you find a dead body, you dont just bury it, you perform and autopsy on it. We need the "Corpse" of the hybrid idea from the devs to take it apart and learn from it.
