I would like to nominate Gorantoth for the NOBEL Droid Award.

This award is given in recognition of the difficult work in gather, assembling and postingof the current discrepancies in the Droid Engineering community and profession in a curteous and professional manner. His dedication to the Droid Engineering community displays passion and desire for the better opportunities that can be provided by a Droid Engineer to the entire gaming population and the better of himself in his profession.

This award is given this day as witnessed by all that read this post. Following in the great tradition of the NOBEL, i /tip 1,000,000. May your days as a starving Droid Engineer never be any more.

Maybe a little humor will get SOE's attention tohelp our profession. Brutely honest hasn't

Gorantoth,

Thanks for bringing it all up in your excellent post!

I confirm your item 2F. No change in that at least for one week; the droid always halts at the same spot, about 500m (512m? That would sound like a 9-bit software bug to me...) out of Kaadara in this particular case. And one must tellthe droidto follow again (sometimes it helps just shouting them to follow from a distance, sometimes it doesn't).

What makes it annoying is that I'm always grinding using three crafting tools when I travel, and I trust my droid to guard me in case I don'tdetectthe agro in time - due to all the windowsblanketing the visibility.

One more wish I have; eventually please give us a programming language, no matter how low level -a CLI thatwould be the most easiest to be implemented by Sony software engineers, in order to us to be able to modify the robot actionsand reactions to any events. I think therewould already beenough input parameters available that could be used for user created state machines, algorithms, and logics.

... not to mention such droid logic programming CLImight immensely benefit SOE's own development on the droid algorithms in SWG. We allcan imaginewhatwill resultfrom 220k or more subscriber base when they are given the right tools.

Btw, since this is SOE, why don't you get in some of the vehiclesfrom PlanetSide? E.g. the hovercrafts modified to speeders? In PSthe vehicles work just beautifully. I hope there is nothing like competition and hatred and all that kind of BS between divisions involved within Sony. That would be ridicilous as atmwe knowthat SWG is in top two online-games in the world already when it comes to number of subscribers.

3A. Droid is being left behind at the shuttleport. I leave mine behind frequently. I like this feature and hope they allow us to keep it. We can always recall the droid to the datapad, if we forget and leave him behind inadvertently.

I tested this today, and as a result, I'm hoping we can remove this from the list. Here is what I found:

1) I had my droid grouped with me, and following me. Then I took the shuttle. The droid auto-stored and the group disbanded.

2) I tried it again only this time the droid was NOT grouped with me, and I first issued the 'stay' command to the droid. The droid stayed at the shuttleport and was there when I returned, in the same spot that I had put him.

I think this is ideal. If the droid is supposed to be with you, he stores when you leave; else he continues with his task. I leave my protocol droid at my front door everyday before I log-out and go to work. He always seems to be there when I return (except yesterday for some reason), and I think this is ideal. So, I think we should remove this issue from the big list.

Sincerely.

Good job. I'll remove the shuttle issue from the list.

I ccrafted a Probot as soon as I got Expert Blueprints, the other day, at my Droid Crafting Station in my house on Tatooine, and was able to craft an Advanced Droid Motive System, well without it you can't craft a Probot, but when I visited Corellia/Coronet, and used the Droid Crafting Station in the city, the Advance Droid Motive System wouldn't show in the crafting tool, but the Schematics there in the datapad Weird!

You're out of time, SOE The whole 2.5 months shouldn't have been. The game was fine up until Nov 15th. If the CU was worked on, instead of devoting time to the NGE (including the many months prior to November), the game could possibly be totally bug free by now.

My account cancels on 2nd Feb, which was a waste as only played game for 1 day to get the life day gifts, will be resubbing when creature handler, Bio-engineer, scout, and ranger return, oh and the FS village.

Just returned home to my Droid Crafting Station, and I'm now available to craft the Advanced Droid Motive System. Surely thats got to be a bug. Annoying I have to travel home just to craft these, guess I'll have to craft some at home, and take them with me.

I know not all droid things can be crafted by not being by a Droid Crafting Station, but everything should be available to craft at every Droid Crafting Station.

Super_nice_jedi,

It's not a bug. There is a difference in quality between public and private crafting stations, and a private station is a requirement for the more complex items.

However, if you're a DE, make yourself a crafting droid, and you can make things wherever you are.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

I've had a number of customers say that medical bays are not working on certain droid types....so far i can pin down the probot as being a problem medical bays (i use lvl 6 medical bays). I had another customer ask about the medical bay in his R2 unit and he called a CSR and they told him to get a surgical droid. anyone seen this problem yet ?

On item 3H...

This is not just visual... I made my first probot today with an Armor 5 module in it... Standard model... Took it out for some kills to see how it holds up... Against Gnorts it was taking5-10 points of damage till all of a sudden it's armor ratings changed... It suddenly had no resistances to Kenetic and a couple others... It started taking 50-60 point hits...

I stored it and pulled it back out and it's armor was back to normal...

The only thing about that particular kill that I could see that was unusial was the distance... I was near acity boundry SE of Theed where pets are known to get stuck often... I unstuck my bot then saw a gnort I sent it after... The gnort was close to another part of the sticking boundry I'm aware of... There could be a connection...

I'll test further and see if I can reproduce the situation consistantly...

Biggest issue I've seen with med droids not working are batteries. Overall, very complete list of everything I've had go wrong with my droids.
K.Anyone still having problems with 'store' showing up when you're trying to call a droid (and no, the droid isn't already out)?
Seems to be an eight-second delay between hitting Store and it changing to 'Call' in the menu, or vice-versa. So I often end up pounding Store (or Call) three or four times, wondering why it hasn't changed, and unaware that my pet is standing behind me (or already back in the datapad).

This has happened to me. I own an R2 droid with a lvl 6 med bay and it's never worked, i.e. I can't heal with the droid out, always get msg "You can only heal in camps, medical centers..." blah blah blah. I bought it about 3 weeks ago.

So do I have to get a surgical droid? If so, then DEs shouldn't be able to insert med modules into just any droid models right?!

Also, all my droid colour customization has faded away Is it supposed to work this way?

I'm not a DE, but I am a customer. So if any one can provide information whether what I'm experiencing is really a bug or I'm just not using the right droid type, please let me know.

Thanks
