This is a weak argument for not doing it. Given that a.) you can only have so many droids on your datapad b.) a delivery droid would take x minutes to complete its task c.) it could be made so that only one could be sent out at a time, it wouldn't make much sense to use as a sales tactic. Anyway, I didn't even suggest a vendor droid, but a delivery droid. Of course the targetted player would have the option of dismissing the droid, and should in fact, for when they are finished with it.
I was responding to the post above mine that suggested making it a "vendor" so that they would have a guaruntee of the money being exchanged for the item. If you don't think folks would use these just to annoy the heck outta the richest folks on the server (which isn't me lol...on my server it's Nimh and Furybaka from what i gather) then please suggest it to be put in as a vendor. Sure they can dismiss it..but can they dismiss an entire guild using them? Just thinking of the possible abuses.
I personally wouldn't mind a delivery droid for delivering to another person's vendor to make an 'offer' to the vendor. Make a stackable module with different levels similar to storage (like max items 10) where you can put the items with prices and send it on its way (all in one motion though to avoid abuse from using these as extra storage). Make it where only someone with lvl 3 or 4 in one of the marketing skill trees (whatever one needs a reason the most for people to spend skill pts on it) to give more reason for someoneto take those skills and i'd think it'd be a nice exchange for the time saved in delivering items from the trade forums.
