i havent encountered this problem myself, but looking at something that DID happen to me and the error message people have received, i have an idea

when i tried to pull a droid after the patch, the option was store, not call. so i hit store, and was able to call it. make sure all the droids in your datapad are officially stored before you try to tame a new one.

i have no idea if this would work, as i havent even tried taming a droid since patch, and i am not at home right now. but if someone could give it a shot and give us all a yay or nay...

Droid deed taming works now.

So, now we're back to 93% broken. At least we're headed in the right direction.

I'm also hearing that someone else was able to get color changes to 'stick' on an R3. Maybe that means that they hotfixed astromechs keeping their color.

But the question iswhy the dev would use ourdroid as they are are prettyuseless ?
it does not even come to their mind that someone would try to tame a droid...
