Thread: What are you doing while waiting for your DE to become useful... or even playable?
Commando to be a Droid Engineer, poor **edit**.
I have been working on pistoleer the whole time, Im Master Artisan and can get master DE as soon as I give up some points. Pistoleer I have about 4 boxes in it, this has been a great way to forget about DE and also help me live through a harvestor trek with red mobs humping the harvestors.
I am slowly working my way up the ladders of Droid engineer. Just keeping up with my harvesters and running missions (after they nerfed those) I barely get time to grind. Most of the time it is just sitting around with my Armorsmith and Weaponsmith friends doing a little survey mining to augment the harvesters.
Yes Life really sucks sometimes.
As a Master DE, I keep my eyes open for the rare materials. But have hooked up with some guilds that are raiding rebel bases and such. With my new alliance, I provide droids to them in trade for faction pets. I have gone through a few different kinds of faction pets, and am currently waiting delivery of my 1st AT-ST.
Master Artisan / Master DE / Novice Rifleman / Novice Scout and starting to really enjoy the PvP aspect, though lacking alot of the game finally.
Remember that every so often that u must stop and smell the roses and kill a few rebels to put those roses on.

Well, now that I've mastered DE and Artsian, im going for master Pistoleer with range support. entirely possible. Plus, im going covert and working on faction points.
Even with 2 masters for crafting, you can still master TK or A range weapon becomming a dual fighting/droid badass when the new combat droids come.
Thats what im going to do also, I got master droid engineer, master artisan, and im going for my master carbineer. So new battle droids, and maybe a couple of AT-ST's. Watch out rebels cause daddy wants some payback.
AS for the droid crafting, I still make droids all the time and make a **edit** good living doing it. I'm selling R-2 units with medmod6, and foodchemcrafting stations for 15k. Then i have an imperial discount system. 25% off for regular imperials, and 50% off for overt imperials. And i still profit. Repeat business is good.
