Thread: Storage Modules
All modules work this way. Multiple modules of the same type stack together and add to one another but the total cannot exceed the abilities of a level 6 module*
I am not certain, but I believe the formula is the sum of all the modules minus the number of module plus one, so two level 3 moduleshas the same effect as a level 5 module (3+3-2+1) and three level 2 modules has the effect of a level 4 module (2+2+2-3+1).
*Armor modules follow all these basic rules except that they cap at level 5, I believe.

The armor modules didnt seem to work this way. I dont have the resources for level 6 armor modules yet, so have been doubling up on level 3 armor modules in the droid. This has resulted in Light armor with 40% resists. That doesnt seem to be right.
Doesn't seem right to me, either. I built an advanced R4 with 2 level 3 plates and it came out as Medium, 25%.
However, I will point out that I was wrong about the armor being capped at 5. Since 4 is Medium, 15% and 6 gives a Medium 40% I am pretty sure that a single leve 5 plate would give you Medium 25% (based both on the way armor progresses as well as the fact that I have never seen two modules stack to a total that isn't equal to some other module). Unfortunately I don't have a spare composite plate to check that.
