I tried both survey and maintaince droids. I sent to many planets and never noticed a fee taken from my cash supply.

make sure you're watching your bank, not your cash. hopefully I'll have a chance to run more tests on this when I can get on later today.

When you go to assign cash to deposit in a building on another planet, check the total cash in your cash/bank compared to the number in the slider, it takes out that money before it gives you the slider. It costs me 1400 to send my droid from Naboo to Tatooine, and 2300 to send my droid from Dantooine to Tatooine
