Thread: Droid sales falling...
I noticed an absolute nosedive in sales right when the latest patch with mounts and cities went in.
I was selling at least 10 - 12 a week and I have sold 1 droid since that patch.
1. Cities are taking people's time and money right now.
2. Mounts taking a lot of money and newness to play with.
3. Hologrinding is increasing and droids don't help you hologrind.
That's my top reasons, and I hope it settles down again soon. I'm sure glad I didn't open my second shop when the patch went in like I was planning to.
I'll say it again im a bounty hunter and i would love to have a new kind of battle droid like a droideka from episode 1or better yet Ig88 bounty hunting droids or other droids of that kind.I really want them to fix this professtion. I think it would make the game better all around and therewould be a decrease in ch as well.
If the dev's read this i hope you make these changes or a will spam this forum until you do hahaha.

My sales have actually increased since the patch, I think largely because of player cities, and the fact that my Corellian vendor stays registered on the planetary map (I'm usually on Naboo, and can't reset it every morning).
I was averaging 70-100k a day in sales before, since the patch, I've been doing 125-200k each day.
what are you selling??????
Mostly medical R2s and advanced probots, with the occassional crate of BH droids and surgical droid mixed in. I really benefit from return customers, and my alliance with other well-known crafters on my server.
Ever since the patch, I've found that my 21B Surgicals in particular have been selling like hotcakes. Well, hotcakes as compared with the level of sales I expect. I used to be able to spend 30 minutes each morning crafting droids (from crated components!) to restock my standard-models vendor. Beginning last weekend, I found this was becoming impossible, so I began running my (110% medical, food/chem crafting) surgicals as factory items as well.
Happiness is a factory output hopper full of crates of droids... Cha-ching!
Well, I guess it is a good thing I dropped a bunch of surgicals in my vendors last night... was out on one vendor, the other was low...
Until the patch, my pumped advanced R2's and R3's were my best sellers, too.
My Droid sales have droped by about 60% on Advanced models, but BH droid sales are way up since the first Jedi
. I think the market will stabilize soon. Mount prices have fallen dramatically in the last couple of days, and pleyers are settling into cities on a more permanent basis. I expect Adv.Droid Chassis will become more popular as people look to decorate their new city homes an businesses.
For me anyways, Droid sales are allways fluctuating wildly. I suspect the last patch has affected most crafter in a negative way (exept Architects!). But business seems to be picking up already after only one week of City/Mount frenzy.
PS. Off topic. If anyone spotsDuranium Steel, plz post (haven't seen any in the past two months!)
I guess you're one of my main competitors, I see you around (though AFK and hanging out in town) a fair amount of the time, and your shop is pretty close to mine.
Well, hopefully there'll be more than enough business to go around for both of us and then some. :-)

At the rate things are going, I'm going to have to destroy all of my crates and any resources that don't fit into my factories and showroom and redeed everything else.
