SWG doesn't exactly count in that category being it's supposed to be a re-creation of episodes 4-6. It doesn't really do much to fill in the gaps, unless one actually does those stupid GCW quests(the whole Dr. Vacca thing). Of course, if it were a true re-enactment of that timeline, then the Droids would work and Creature Handlers would be close to non-existent. Soooooo, all on how you look at it I guess.

Essentially, if it is legally using the name Star Wars, it is now part of the EU. That includes all books, movies, TV shows (even the Christmas special), video games, comic books, magazines, or any other concevable form that one could come up with. That's part of Lucas's licensing scheme. You have to follow the continuity, while your project gets added to that continuity. This is why this stuff is important. Q (I think) mentioned that we are living part of the EU by playing this game, as are the new SWG books. This game needs to stick to the EU as part of its license.

Nice info, but it's from a vid game. To me if it isn't from a movie or a Lucas-endorsed book, I don't buy into it. Or maybe if it's on the Star Wars site. But games like Starfighter, Knights of the Old Republic, Rogue Squadron..... I don't agree that they should be used when looking at the real Star Wars Universe.
