It's not as hard as all that...

Some of you make this out to be a herculean effort with hours and hours of grinding involved....it's not.

Run the server list in a smart way and it's easy:

1) Keep a running DEnet list in your "/notepad" feature for mass mailings:

Example:

" JoeBlowDE; JaneBlowDE; " and so on.

Set up your copy/paste keyboard short cuts and mass emailings and forwarding of resource reports is a breeze. I can run DEnet by logging for about 15 min. every two days. Don't you play more than that anyway?

2) Use your Group/Comments listings in the Friends area to group-send emails to DEnet players. This allows for any outgoing info and provides a backup to the list you create above.

It's not hard.

What I meant was, you don't yet have a DEnet on Tempest.

Ahhhh.....no, not yet.

Still waiting on an official DEnet admin from each server to step forward.

Well just to let you know, I've got 64 badges and am a reasonably serious droid engineer.....so that badge thing isnt necessarily a good measurement.

And I'd be willing to do some stuff with it on Gorath if we don't have anything running there already.

Heya, folks...

I need anyone that's working on this to come back to this thread and let me know if there IS a DEnet (or something similar) on your server.

If so, please try to get me info on the admin for that server, so that Woodrow and I can have an idea of who we need to work with to help build the association.

So, if you run a list or have gotten onto one, please come back and let me know:

As soon as I can get enough servers that are up and running, we can start an official DENet server/admin registry for the DE forums and hopefully get it stickied (along with some other info that I'm starting to build).

Hi, I am on the Chimaera server, character name Drawde Kraken.

I am a brand new DE, trying to get master so I can make the best droids. I have a great guild support helping to get the resources I need for the 'grind'. I say grind, but am loving the fact that I get to make droids for my guild fellows.

I have DE 3344 and am a Master Artisan, and Master Medic (wanted to be able to make Stims, and then couldn't give it up).

I've no interest in the hologrind, nor being a Jedi. I will however be aiming for Shipwright when JTLS comes out (like so many others) but will always try to keep my DE status.

If there is a DEnet on Chimaera I haven't heard about it, but would be very interested in joing up.

I am still new to this game though, only been playing for about a month. I chose DE as my path form the outset, got Master Artisan because I hadn;t worked out you didnt need to be Master Artisan to get DE (newbie!). I chose DE purely and simply because I wanted to make droids, all kinds, MSE, R2's, 3PO's etc. But at the moment, I am making Probots for hunting, and MSE's for harvesting, they keep my guildies happy.

Just as an FYI, co-chairing the DENet is something you all definitely should consider, if time is a concern. It's nice to know that someone else is helping to try and find information on the other DE's and to help get things organized. It's also nice to bounce ideas off each other.
