However,
I've been thinking about scout as well. Since I have 3 of the crafting branches unlocked (still need phase 2), 1 Senses and 2 Reflexes, I've been thinking about unlocking my final crafting and another senses one. Use my merchant XP and scout XP to fill out the senses trees. I have lots of people to follow around and harvest. It would also be nice for the terrain neg, mask scent, and burst run stuff for runs. I should have enough points to drop back to maybe 0040 brawler and get atleast one line in scout. Hmmmmmm. I'll have to work on this a bit.
Thanks for the discussion. I just recently got back into the droid business after a stint at weaponsmith. So having to juggle skill points is something I'm not used to.
Last time I was a DE, my pre-nerf probot or my post DE revamp probot could keep me safe from the few MOBs I did run into on harvester runs and I could be a MDE, MArt, MMerch, some of Arch(for those power droids and making my own harvesters). I was completely self-sufficient.
But going out into the wild is a compelely different experience these days. And our continued reliance on MArt as a profession makes it really difficult to survive.

Had to give up "Novice Carbineer" because of the changes, so now my weak crafter is even weaker. Ah well. I play this game to craft droids, not kill things. I will get what "shinys" I can on my own, and look to buy the many rewards that are in missions that are always geared towards combat. (are there reallyany crafter missions at all..... hmmmm)
I'm using merchant xp to buy merchant boxes and respeccing them to DE (since I doubt I'll ever get to the village again since the CU)
I'm also hoping (time permitting) to respec my armoursmith tree to DE (possibly via Architect as my guild architect has quit over the CU and I need some loot schematics made) once I've made one of each armour suit for my collection
Well, Master Artisan, Master DE, some Merchant and some Marksmen / Rifleman was before the respec.
Now I am tempted to actually drop Artisan to the real minimum to be able to Master Rifleman. Just hope that the two Artisans I know do not drop it during their respec ![]()

Yes, you can respec back to what you had before. Keep in mind that once you respec, you can't re-respec for 12 hours after that.

I've not found it overly difficult to place harvesters, or otherwise get around, so I'm sticking with the plan. The only change I am considering is dropping the advertising tree of merchant and instead grabbing Novice Armorsmith and Novice Weaponsmith... my alt is a smuggler (respec from chef), so then I would be able to make all his WUK/AUK components.
