Too clarify (ugh, forgot it above), that's one pre-patch R3, two pre-patch probots, one post-patch LE repair droid (I call black Black Bart and he's a lean-mean, hand-to-hand carrion spat killing machine ) and one post-patch probot, are all difficulty level 13, but I can call them just fine.

(But the post-patch probot can'tbe named)

LE repair droid has negative terrain negotiation. I have none on my character, yet I FAR outdistance my droid when running thru very slightly hilly (and even flat)terrain. Combat capable droids are more of a detriment because of the lack of being able to keep up with anyone no matter how slow they ran. This needs to be fixed or else people will just use another CL10 because it can keep up.

It is confirmed that the armor bug going from 20% to 40% went to Live. When you first tame the droid, the resists on a level 6 armor module'ddroid is 20%. Store it, call it, the resists jump to 40%.

Being able to keep up with anyone is irrelevant. You can swoop wherever you like, get off, and 15 seconds later your droids been called. We're just not used to being able to call stuff everywhere

(I ran, trailed by Black Bart the LE Wrestling Droid. He was sloooow. Once I got there, I realized I could've stored 'im, swooped out and called him... :robotvery-happy

Where is the droid defensive module harness schematic?

This is required for the advanced R3 droid schematic and presumably would be the socket cluster that can accept 3 armour modules thus giving the R3 adv the ability to accept 6 armour modules in two droid defensive harnesses.

The problem is I am a Master Droid Engineer but I don't appear to have this schematic which means the advanced combat droids cannot be made at the moment by me.

Am I being blind and the schematic is there or under a different profession, or is this a major components schematic being accidently left out of the patch?

Unless it says cluster it means it's only for a single module. In this case by saying "Defensive" it means it can only hold droid armour modules.

A droid defensive module harness is an armor module of any level. Please do not post things as bugs, if you are new to DE and have not read up on the literature (stickies) in this forum. I can understand wanting to be helpful, but if you are new to DE you probably don't have enough experience to compare pre and post patch anyway.

Youre no doubt right - I'm probably confusing this with the combat modules, though why they had to say "requires 1 Droid Defensive Module Harness" I dont know. Should really just say "Requires an Armour Module" surely?

Here's what I've seen so far, and I've made a combat R3 (pretty nice by the way), and a Droid Repair Kit - B

1. Using the droid repair kit makes an "eating" sound. We need some lightning, electricity, sparking sounds or somthing

2. I used 2 lvl 6 armor modules (old ones granted, who knows if that makes a difference) in my R3. When I first undeeded him, he has no armor level, 20% resists. I fought with him, he got dropped, I stored him. When I took him back out he now has 40% resists. Really not sure what this means or how it's supposed to be! TK, if you can get some REAL clarification on how armor should be working that would be great!

3. I had the R3 in melee attack mode (which I'll get back to, hurm..) and his circular saw was moving, and they were attacking each other, but visually they were about 40m apart. Didn't look right at all.

4. Not really a bug I guess, but I don't like it. The "Ranged Attack Mode" command acts as a toggle. Why not make this a second command for ease of use? One command for ranged, one for melee - and the droid should STILL override your decision IMO if he's close to getting killed.

More bugs coming as I see 'em...

Here's another I haven't experienced yet, but I'll look into it further tonight when my tailor gets online:

Sounds like the schematic for this Droidsmith's Tool Kit needs to be updated to coincide with the new droid repair kits.

I made a 100-unit schematic of "Unit Delivery Charges". The factory stopped (and said it was done) at 50. I had the 'recipe' correct...it just made 50% of what the schematic called for...

Adv R2 chassis can no longer be custom colored in the crafting process. Possibly others, but I havent tried them yet.
