Hey, 12 happy DE's. SOE must be ecstatic.
And at least one bitter piece of crap who one-starred the entire thread but was too gutless to leave a post.

well said,
IMO I think us DE's are a top profession in the game and in turn we need to be tops our selves......
Why don't we all make a deal and wait for a bit......I have high hopes for publish 8... Hey just getting the new mods sounds good to me so I can start selling more droids to the chef and entertainer professions....
I also would bet my left nut that when the space expansion comes out droids will be a crucial part in it......

Hello out there,
I love being a MDE or as I refer to it ...being a toy maker. I ge tso much business that I take the tag off my toon so I can spend more time playing. I love to get through an entire droid crafting session with nothing but great and amazing successes <thanks to a few swigs of bespin port> and I love to have my friends get all excited when I deliver and customize their new droid. I truly do not understand the current complaints about making droids, the entire droid making system is so complex that people should be in my opinion, more grateful for the time spent by the devs creating such a deep profession. It is getting improved just like everything else in the game and changes keep coming. why would you give up your subsrcription whenI have personally been on to see at least 3 major patches since Thanksgiving? It's obvious the devs are working hard on our game. Lets all try to be a little more patient and just have fun with what we have.

Kaldeth here.
For the longest time I have been wanting to be a crafter. A maker of items if you wish. Combat is not for me. I face my dangers infront of a crafting station or out surveying for better resources.
I took up the struggle with Droid Engineering quite early, but I was unable to substain my profession. Being poor and only able to afford personal harvesters and a small house I had to chose another path. It wasn't only being unable to afford bigger harvesters that made me make this change but I also lacked some resources that I couldn't find with my trusted Survey tool.
Time passed and I tried various things, even combat. but my heart always lay in crafting. One day I figured. "Why not give Droid Engineering another try? I have more money now and also a nice collection of medium harvesters at my disposal." Also my guild lacked an active Droid Engineer. Said and done, I toiled by my tool, I studied the schematics and I learned the secrets of the skill. I found that I enjoyed making droids of variation.
Today. I am taking myself up from the hole I was in. I was upset. I was angry. I felt like throwing something hard on someones head and hear what sound it would make. But I didn't. I got a tell. Someone wanted a droid. I got another tell, and another. I got questions from my guild members about droids.
My sales today are slightly higher then before. It makes me smile to think that the path ahead will get lighter. We are exiting the dark forest and the trees aren't quite as dense anymore.
