Too many complaints and angry customers, i always inform my customers of the permadeath thing, but they always seem to ignore what i say until the droid dies and they demand a replacement for free......
I gained a lot of business, sure, but i also lost all respect for my profession. Too many players got upset because their droid got killed in asilly way and i had to put afew players on /addignore because of the abuse i got as a result of this.
In short, permadeath was the final straw for me, i hated logging on to the gush of complaints and by the time i logged off i was exhausted and irritable, not my idea of enyojment at all.
My DE is on permanent hold until they remove the permadeath thing.
WORST thing they ever did afaik.

I liked it in theory, I'd prefer a degrade over time to a permadeath, since CH pets didn't permadeath. Probot sales dropped, at least for me.

How about a compromise? If a droid dies it turns into a heap of metal. It has to be taken to a droid engineer to be fixed or salvaged.

Of course, that would require ch pets to be cloned each time too
