I checked out the architect forum and the shuttleports don't require a protocol chassis? what are they using the chassis for? are you sure its for the shuttleport?

Well, I sell My Protocol Droids for around 50k. Reason? 1st we are a broken class and now this ONE important piece for a city that need US the DE's. 2nd think down the road.. the city can charge whatever they want to use the shuttle port, so take X people times X creds you do the math. making a protocol droid is not like own a MSE droid.. i dont think everyone should have them.. they are like a rareity type droid (only for the rich)? and also there isnt go to be many cities in the game (right now i think they are still at 10 per planet) so Cred wise the people selling the chassis cheap (like under 10k or 15k) are hurting the DE profession.. might was well then bring the protocol droid to a Novice DE lvl and put the MSE at Master DE then. I do get some people that think the price for protocol chassis is outrageous..but then i explain to them why and think ahead of the future on the shuttle port.. then the light comes on for them. Also mind you i think it is sad that vehicles can be made with anyone with engineer IV skill..but for mount you need to be a higher class. But on the flip side i can see why not to put vehicle in DE cause we make droids not cars.. (I think the Devs never really thought in advance about the skill tree system when it came to crafting cause it is really messed up i think)..

I sell chassis, except for R2 and BLL, for 10-15k depending on volume. Just got an order for 10 protocol chassis; selling those for 10k each. Nice little 100k there, plus its cool that my droid chassis will become permanent fixtures in thriving player cities.

If a customer buys several of droids, I usually drop the price on any extra chassis they want. Individuals always go for 15k.

The mayor for my hometown, Mos Vegas, is getting a free chassis from me for our shuttleport.

I only wish that our maker's mark would stick around through the build process.

It would be REALLY slick if instead of requiring a 3PO chassis, any conversational droid chassis could be used... And if that chassis could retain it's customer colors, as assigned by the DE at build-time.

I've been selling my advanced droid Frames for 50% of the price of a fully functional droid. My prices for the adv. droids are based on J'Vee's price list on Flurry. These prices are stated without modules anyway, so from a crafting point of view, this seemed easiest for me. However, i charge almost full price for BLL 42k for the frame alone due to the enormous resources needed to build the frame. Finishing the BLL takes very few resources other than armor modules if desired.

i think it would be cool if the chasis remembers that you built it when you go by the shuttleport and waves to you or something
