So, what will happen if I finish this "repair the sensor array" quest without having 50k Force-sensitive crafting exp? Just need to make and recalibrate the gyroscopic dojobber...

I intend to do it over time, but not going to rush.

I'm starting to think about it though, and are these FS crafting bonuses really worth anything in the long run?!?? It's really starting to look like they aren't much use. I'm already at the point where the quality of the resources is the limiting factor for me. I'm never short on the experimentation points needed to hit the cap that the resources set except for the stimpack dispensor and the repair/reconstruction kits. Given that fact... I'm wondering what the point of these skill boxes really is? All improved assembly and experimentation chances are going to do for me is save me a little money by decreasing the chances I'll have to throw an item away after I craft it. They'll slightly increase the quality of my stimpack dispensors and repair/reconstruction kits but that's it.

It really seems unfair to me.Some of thosecombat related FS skill boxes provide some nice combat benefits that are comparable to the benefits that come from regular profession skill boxes. That is most definitelynot true of these FS crafting skill boxes.
