Another way to make fairly good money as an Artisan, is to sell Backpacks and Repair Kits on the Bazaar. Do the crafting missions as mentioned above (Moenia to Deeja Peak on Naboo is another good "run"), and find some high Conductivity copper to mine. Then make Armor and Weapon Kits. Bite the bullet and pay the 200cred to put the little Special flag on the sales on the bazaar, and load up the bazaar in Theed or Coronet on a Friday. I used to sell High Grade crafting tools, but now that the hologrind is done, I imagine that market has dried up.

You could also master artisan and make runs of EMM EGP control units etc. Doesnt take that many resources (although varied) for a run of 1000 and they sell very well as alot of players dont have the skill points for master artisan.

As you will learn you will go through alot of EMM and EGP I have a factory for each almost running constantly just to supply my own needs. Control units arent as high demand so probably best to stick to EGP EMMs.

I have2 words for you.

Wind Harvesters.

Even just one. Originally when I could first make those, I made my first one and ended up with 200 credits and less than a day of maintenance. Once I got some power I sold it on the bazaar and then started selling more. Once player cities happened I moved into one and set up a vendor and sold yet more power. Then once I got a little more settled I put up my droid vendor and the rest is history.
