Thread: detonation droids, which is the highest craftable detonation power?

MSE's get a +10 for each module, but since they can only hold 2 modules they would cap at 40 (theoretical ^^)

So making some MSE bombers for the first timewith a 36 isn't too bad then huh?

everything said here so far is correct. I'll add a little and summarize:
mse: theoretical best is 20 (i don't make these)
advanced mse: theoretical best is 40 (mine are 39)
advanced R3: theoretical best is 60 (mine are 58)
it's possible to make other kinds of detonation droids, but thesethree are really the only configurations that make good sense, IMO. though i must admit, some DE on my server is making detonation droids mixed with combat modules, and putting them in a variety of chassis... I don't know what he/she is thinking. that seems a foolish idea.
I don't know it seems like an interesting idea to me. I put one into my barker BLL just in case I ever need to fry him. Although for most things though I think it would be a waste of space unless you're into watching droid fireworks. Or just making a statement..
*Low Power*
.... BOOM!
LOL
Too bad I'm not a smuggler or bounty hunter, or my personal droids would have a self destruct feature. Well, maybe not the ones with storage modules...that could be nasty.
It would be nice if the devs would expand the number of classes that can detonate a droid. Certainly a DE should know where the magic button it. Maybe Commando andone of themelee classes could also control these droids.

I recently got novice smuggler so I could use these fine toys we craft, and i've found when deuling, or in pvp battles (remeber, the bomb droid has blast radius damage... ) the MSE style is useless, as all someone has to do is shoot at it once, and it'll run... same with the R3 droid with 6 det mods. So i've had the thought to use r3's with 5 combat, 1 det, or just go all out, use the fast probot, with a built in combat rating, and good speed
Havent' been able to test it out yet, but i got one with 48 power. Should be fun next time i run into a group of overt's.
