Sin, I'd be surprised if it was just a couple of weeks. A month or so feels like the right timespan for this. These are seriously large changes regardless of what happens. We're talking a complete redesign of a not just one class, but almost every elite profession being touched by our redesign. You can't just toss out stuff in a week that would be coherent, let alone be balanced.

However, I would like to see some sort of running monologue from TH about how the developers are playing with ideas internally. That is, something like a weekly update that says "here's some ideas about how droids might be used with profession X, we think these are the negatives and these are the positives, waddayouguysthink?" There shouldn't be any timeline associated with these, just treat them as a series of discussion starters for feedback. Droids are central to the whole starwars universe, and to make it feel much more like that, they need to impact everyone. It's going to be a far bigger job than the redesign they did of CH. Obviously they have some idea where they are heading as shown by the CH posts, but it would be nice to get some broad concept plans/ideas out there about how droids and the SWG universe would interact.

I agree. This should not be some secretive thing from the devs. This should involve thepeople it's affecting. A weekly update laying out the devs thoughts and ideas on the subject would be awesome. It would allow us to give input, and hopefully tweak the ideas BEFORE they go into full production, rather than be surprized when they hit us with everything in a month or two.

Devs, TH, Sintrosi...no more secrets. This game is no longer under the black veil as many games are before release. The game is out, and playable, with many people involved. Let us know what you are talking about, let us know what the plans are. The only thing that should be a secret anymore in this game is the Jedi "formula", and even that won't last too much longer.

Yes I am working with TH closely at the moment. In fact he has prodded me along a bit after I got back from vacation He has ALOT of information to sift through, compile and get to the devs. Then they will have to get back with him. And that is only for us. ALthough we are priority he still cant let teh other professions slip attention wise.
