Thread: Macro Problem, anyone help?
Well heres the one i use. Btw I hate the same problem you did. It turned out i had a : at the end of a line instead of a ; Fixed it and my problem was fixed. Also i get "The crafting session has ended" but it uses the resources and gives me the xp. I thought it was the things way of tell me the macro had run.
/ui action toolbarSlot01; (remember 00 doesnt work. And 01is actually F2)
/selectDraftSchematic 22; (in my case 22. And this one is also caps sensitive)
/pause 5;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no items; (Just as it is in my macro with the s. But now we see that doesnt matter)
/createPrototype practice no items;
/pause 3; (this one seems important to. Out of curiousity i pulled it. And it never worked right)
Then its repeat the same macro through 5 or 6 tools depending on what im making. And the last line is to rerun the macro. Now strangely tonight my macro broke because it shortened itself. I had to drop one of my tools from the macro to make it fit into this new limit.
As odd as it may sound, I've never gotten the Crafting Macro commands to do anything by typing them in the command line. They always have to be in the actual macro for me, which means lots of editing... adding one line at a time... I'd prefer not to talk about it. Bad memories. hehe
I've gotten pretty proficient at grind crafting without a macro, but WITH the macro, its cake. I can do schoolwork while grinding. Bind a mouse button to double click and bam.. 5 clicks for a MSE. Ifmacroing is frustrating, then by all means, drop it. But if you can get it to work, itsa magical moment wherethe sun breaks free ofyour manualgrinding clouds andyou cant help but hear birds chirping. =)
