Although it was said in the answers given to our profession questions that the Mechanism Quality rating on crafting station modules was equivilant to that of the regular crafting stations (higher rating = less chance of critical failures).

That I have noticed again and again in the final assembly phase - if I use good quality fiber/inert and good modules, a good crafting tool and either my R2 crafting droid or my +42 home station, I very rarely fail. If any one of those things is not there - if I use a sub par tool, materials, modules or station, the failure rate goes up noticably.


Is this proof? No. But I beleive it.
