Also factor in return business from your customer on the pricing. A bounty hunter buys alot of disposable droids, so he will come back and buy alot from you. Good to have the prices on your seekers/probes a little cheap, cuz let's face it, it is nothing to make 100's of them. But an Advanced R2 with 5 lvl 6 modules and maybe an armor plate on it, well, that will last your customer a long time. So he won't be back for a bit. You need to increase the cost of the droid for that very reason. Works like in real life. The more durable things are, the more they cost: chairs, cars, pencils, windows, silverware, dishes... The customer has to pay for that longevity on the item so you can stay in business. Some people might complain about the price, but then just tell em there is some nice crappy piece of **edit** 1 module r4's down the road that will break down on you when you buy em. =)

OT

Err, unless he's like 95% of the BHs out there and they buy 1 crate and exploit the never ending seekers bug that the devs still haven't fixed. I'd like to take this time to thank all the BHs who buy from me who DON'T do this

Second, I'd have to say that BH droids are the most annoying (next to probots and R3s) to make, but that may just be because I do runs of 1000 GP modules and 500 EM Modules to make a ton of crates. Doesn't fit too well in the 'ol inventory. lol

Hehehe, the first time I made a bunch of Gp's and MM's (800 each) I had the same problem, couldn't fit em all in my house.... =)

Ehhhmmm.... you know storage modules do not work on surgical droids, dont you?

Ellesa

sure, but they might work one day right? I just can't stand to leave module slots empty so whenever I have filled a droids functional modules I put in a level4 item storage module. Don't worry, they don't factor in the cost.

Probably not... There has not been any single retroactive bug fix... When Devs fix this (if they someday fix this) it will probably work for post-patch droids

Anyway, just want to assure you knew it

I'll give you my view... I'm on Chilastra to clear that up since prices tend to differ from server to server, we don't seem to have an active DEA there so prices are kinda low.

Surgical - Medlvl6/Chem Craft: 15k

R2 - Medlvl6/Chem Craft/Storelvl6: 25k

That's about it... other than that I have various droid models with crafting/store or datapad.

I've had these prices for ages, and everytime I see a thread like this on the forums I se ppl with way higher prices than mine. And to be truly honest I don't really know if I make any money on it since I'm selling alot of other stuff as well.

is that lvl 6 storage compartments?
I am master de and you have to put into consideration of the factory you have to have to make the memory and gp mods. I do not sell them much but I really dunno how much I would sell them for but just saying that they are so damn complicated that it takes alot of time to make a good droid. For those who do not know binary load lifters are worthless lol and the most expensive to make. Mine is my crafting station lol.

I've posted this before but here is what I do for those who might be interested and missed my other post:

+ # ofall resource unitsin schematic of final product x10c

+ # of all components that go intofinal product x10c

+cost of any non-DE components that needed to be purchased (composite armor segments, power cores, etc)

+cost of offsettingfactory maintainence

+cost of offsetting factory power consumption

+cost of offsetting vendor maintainence

+ cost of offesetting whatever building your vendor(s) aresituated within

+ # of all resource units inall modules addedx10c

+/-supply/demand factor*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

= Sell Price (round to the nearest 10c or 100c so you don't go insane trying to remember prices lol)

* Supply/Demand factor weighs heavily onMSE droids and BH droids. MSE droidsare the onlydroid novices canbuild, and thus are usuallyin oversupply whichcauses their worth tobe much lessthan other droids. I usually sell these for about 500c or so. Bounty Hunter droids need to be priced within a range that will make it worthwhile for a BH to buy them from you (duh).
