Regarding 2J - Multiple Crafting Stations
I was trying to illustrate to a customer what happens when two droids with a crafting station get near eachother, normally neither crafting station works. To my surprise however, they both worked. I then brought my droid to a private crafting station, this also used to be broken, it now works.
Then I tried the ultimate test, I crafted an advanced treadwell with both a clothing crafting station and a weapon crafting station, and they both worked!
Looks like you can wipe this bug off the list!

do NOT wipe this bug off the list. the WDG station now allows all schematics to be crafted. Have you tried a cloth and a food crafting station in 1 droid. try without a WDG station and you'll see this is not fixed, and just a result of the bug that all schematics can be crafted with a WDG and a WDG tool, regardless of skilltree (master armor can be made in the WDG tool I've been told).

Uh, no. The bug is still in effect. I've read your other thread where you think that this is by design because the Generic Crafting Tool shows all the tabs. The Generic Crafting Tool shows all the tabs because that's what it does. It lets you craft all the low-end schematics which do not use a specialized tool. The WDG tool is not a generic tool, it is a specialized tool and therefore only allows access to the scematics in these categories. All the other specialized tools do the same thing, they only allow access to the scematics in the categories for which they were designed. Please do not confuse the "General" in WDG with "Generic".
As of a recent patch the WDG tool suddenly allowedschematics from every category to be crafted. This is a bug since it no longer conforms to thebehavior established by all the other specialized tools.
What does this have to do with multiple crafting stations? Everything. In order to craft advanced schematics and/or use experimentation, you need to be next to a crafting station of the same type as the tool you are using. This means that when using a WDG tool while next to a WDG crafting station, you can build the advanced schematics from all the tabs and experiment on any item crafted from any of the tabs. Therefore, any tests performed using the WDG tool and WDG crafting module have to be suspect since the behaviour of the tool is already erratic.
Until this is fixed, please limit multiple crafting station tests to FC, SF, and CA modules. The WDG tests cannot be trusted to give accurate results.
Hey Lime (bought 3 droid schematics from you last night... ;-)
A key issue for the customer base is the battery use "bug." I put this in quotations as it may be working as intended (and if so, needs to be fixed).
Currently, my Master Doctor can craftnormally but the medical capability of a med droid with a rating of 110 literally decays within 5 minutes of battery recharge. I pull out my droid in the field to do two things: craft medsand apply enhancements. The crafting as I've already stated works great. However, when I start applying enhancements, the quality of the result goes from +1600 down to "you must be near a surgical droid, a hospital or in camp to do this" in the aforementioned 5 minutes.
Medical droids and the value they provide to players in the field is the DE profession's number one value proposition in my opinion (at least until we see Combat-enabled Binary Load Lifters!!). I have no problem with having to replace my droid once a month, but with this battery situation, the medical droid is being relegated to a mobile crafting station. I'm going to start carrying around a small generic house anda private crafting station if they don't fix this.
My droid is customized, and after reading the FAQs, etc., before posting this who knows maybe I wouldn't experience this problem with a non-customized droid, but I doubt it.
