I remember at one point and time the DE correspondant saying "just wait guys things are coming that will make us the flavor of the month profession"

So just like I was happy for commando's I'll be overjoyed for you guys when you finally get fixed.

It's about time.

We've been one of the forgotten professions since launch.

Oh yeah... They did nurf the only droid anyone WAS buying... Does that count as getting attention?

Sorry... But I'm rather pessimistic when it come to improvments in DE.

I hope the 'more powerful' isn't just us getting to make vechicles... I don't want to make those (well, not really)... I just want to make droids people actually want.

Hmm... they must like me.

Guys I'm just warning you now. That last "BIG" patch where everyone got love... let's see. We got... oh yeah:

-Fixed a f$%^ing bug that one of the schematics was not giving exp on -omg! be still my heart

-Added a new schematic to let us color droids -Too F$#!ing bad the color bug is still on the droids which makes us coloring them worthless!

So forgive me if I'm not going to get all wet about this upcoming patch. I will believe it when I TEST it in game. For even what they write in the patch notes can not be relied uponn as was evident in the last "big" patch.

The thing that really pisses me off is they are probably going to ignore the current issues with our trade and simply add something new like vehicles. Woooooo ....wowieeeee.

Fix the **edit** problems with DE first guys! Want a list? Here we go:

-No way to heal a droid's white bar damage ...Pets on the other hand get standard player stims PLUS freegin pet stims that have no use restrictions. I am novice medic and use PET stim D's on my pets! **edit**!

-No way to heal a droid's blue wounds ...Let's see oh yeah, we F#$%ing say TRICK with a pet and poof it's magic!

-Can only have 1 droid out at a time? **edit**? -CH's get 2 pets ...gee that makes sense

-The VERY Best probot that can be made can only take a crappy NON CH pet (creature level 13) down to 1/3 health before it dies. That means a NON CH pet is 3x more powerful than our BEST Battledroid. hmmm that makes a Master CH pet about 10x stronger than the Master DE droid! -Wow that makes sense. Oh don't forget to multiply by 2 here fellas. Master CH can have 2 of thosepets out

- No way to fix a droid's vitality! They used to have droid repair kits. Even though they NEVER FREEGIN WORKED! Now they even took those away. We can't even make Droid Repair Kits anymore? -And for you idiots who say that's what a repair droid is for... WRONG! Repair droids can ONLY fix the Black damage of the red and green ham bars

- No way to see Crafting Station Stats on droids

- BLL's are worthless with 3 defensive slots only. Gee that was a genious move

- R3 droids can hold 6 modules. Guess what ...you can only put 5 different module functions into a droid! (Repair, Item slots, data slots, crafting, medical) -If you use a top level module in each case, there is 1 leftover slot in the R3 chassis. Hmmm that makes sense ...ROFL

- Pets can be buffed. Can droids?! hmmm that's fair I see

- Master DE's can only have 1 droid out at a time? **edit** how does that give me any reward over some schlep who has 0 DE points.

- Master DE's can only have 5 droids MAX? **edit** how does that give me any reward over some drunken **edit** who has 0 DE points.

- Let's see ...oh yeah. Droids freegin need to be recharged like every 15 minutes or they DO NOT FIGHT! **edit** man. I see CH's have their pets out for hours on end and they require 0 attention at all! If I put my droid on guard and start macroing, 30 minutes later I get attacked and my droid is worthless. -That CH pet jumps right in and starts fighting even HOURS later though. -That's dandy huh?

- Droids do not INTERCEPT attacking creatures like a CH pet does. My probot will shoot at it from afar, but does not "Rescue" me from the attack like a CH pet does. hmmm that is fair huh?

- 10 item slots max per droid? Come on people. **edit** is that even worth it? I have 5 droids that each hold 10 slots wooooooo! I have 50 extra slots now! OMG!

- So many crafting bugs. Things ranging from experimentationn makes NO EFFECT on droid's performance at all ...to getting very wacked numbers like -23 item storage rating when you put 2 level6 item mods in.

- Med rating 20 is no MORE effective than a med 110 rating. Well I'll be damned you don't say?

- Surgical droids do what? Oh yeah they merely enhance my healing abilities? -How is that worthwhile? Just make a freegin camp?!?!? -Let the **edit** droids heal my group automatically and let the medical rating actually MEAN something!

I could probably go on more and more but these are in my mind, the glaring problems at the moment, with Droid Engineering and droids in general. Fix these and maybe then I can feel some joy about a statement like "Droid Engineers will be much more powerful soon" -To me that statementmerely means more bugs for my list above. I would have much more preferred "We are fixing all known Droid Engineer bugs."
