Droid Engineer Archive

I didn't know of the exploit until now, but I have a couple of droids (A 3PO, which serves no purpose to me, and a Probot). That's fine, it's an exploit, but I'm still wondering why I can't call out multiple droids.

3PO and R2 were able to hang together in the movies, why is it such a big deal that people who use droids can only call out one at a time? I see CHs able to call out multiple pets, and as a Rebel, I can use more than one commando.

Is there something I'm missing here?
