If you're looking for a good star-wars game, check out the new Galactic Conquest mod for Battlefield 1942.Everything from slogging it on Hoth to the trench-run in X-wings against the Death Star. Best thing till that new Lucasarts battlefields comes out, I imagine.

But as an update, trying to contact Devs over situation. Asking everyone to stave off any direct attacks on them till after I'm done Thanks mateys

I logged in briefly ar lunch..

Some guy was yelling that he wanted a BATTLEDROID...

I explained that there was no Battle droid

Others got involved

I was told it was the "DROID INVASIO" and there where new droids.

No new droids I said just the nerfed probot and a gun added to the R3

Pooo they said.

The smartest one in the bunch said that the NEW droids took new parts and resources and that people just hadnt had time to make them. Just wait until tonight after the factories have had a little time to run..

Thats where i logged out...

but people really think that there are new droids and the old ones have been revamped..

SOE seems to be outright lying on this one. The wallpaper is a pure scam. Very deceptive.

The first thing i had to make when i logged in my DE char to stop tells for new combat droids chassis:

Use the novice artisant titleabove my head instead of master droid engineer.

Rename my shop Hawkcormyr's droid to Hawkcormyr's hideout

Unregister my vendor from the planetary map

Disable add barking

and now only my friends bugs me for new droids ...

There is a great confusion among other player for this Droid invasion ...

Thank you devs for the postive changes you have made to our profession and gameplay but again we must add that the content is just a band aid to the wound- no offense. The droid invasion is about as bad as the imperial crackdown. I think a lot of the changes you guys did are great but there seems to be a lack of direction from the clients point of view as to what we do now.

So I am curious. Was the intention to fix the current profession and then that would establish the footing to add to our profession at a later date?
