It's nice that we have large numbers of forum posts, it either shows that there are alot of non-DE's posting here or that we have a very active community but I don't really think its representitive of the number of DE's ingame and I know that the dev's have more sophisticated ways of looking at those stats than by looking at these boards. There was a post a little over a week ago on the dev forum that listed the top played professions:

Very interesting fact though, and heartening along with the increased # of DE posts on the main discussion forum.
