HAHA get this I just ran into a guy selling a Cowardly Gurreck and got the stats. OMFG Gurrecks sux.

150-160 dmg 0.3 to hit. That is unbelive ably SUCKY. Why? Cause just about every one of the good none ch pets I ahve on my list is 150-160 0.35 or 0.4 so the Gurreck actualy does LESS dmg.

Forest Sliceis actualy the front runer i think at 160-170 0.35. Male robe is 2nd I think. I need to confirm his stats. I know he's 0.4 not 100% sure about his dmg though. Holly cow... sorry I'm in shock all these ppl brag about Gurrecks and they blow chunks. The Forest Slice is a WAY better pet. IF you don't get a beatle. Owe beatles are 140-150 0.35. Lets break down some math.

Lets assume 1st off that they always do max dmg, and lets assume all blows hit health only. Then lets pit the beatle agiants the Gurreck.

Beatle has 5866 ham vs a Gurreck. Which has 3555 vs the bettle. So it takes the beatle 23.7 hits to kill the Gurreck, and it takes the Gurreck 36.6 hits to kill the Beatle. In the 69 swings made by the beatle to land the 24 it takes to kill the Gurreck theit landed 21 blows doing 504 dmg to the beatle. Haha. Sorry that is sad. The gurreck won't even do 1/4th the beatles health. I'm going to test this in game. I gotta see this.

Hmm well sense this is the droid board lets see how a Probot stands up. My best one is 1.56 speed 0.31 to hit and 50-50 dmg. No compairison here. The faster speed will increase the relative dmg slightly but that 50-50 is rock bottom. A ch pet will EASLY double the dmg done by a probot in the same amount of time. Even the Gurreck would probibly win even on with a probot. Although he would be good and dmged up when he got done.

See what I'd like to see is those simple droids the ones like 3PO changed heads with. Make them low ham like 600-800 AR 1 and say 30% but when you make them you give them a special combat brian module. That module is like a combat brian with the carbine addon or advanced carbine addon. Based on the lvl used they have weapon certs. So I can literaly hand my combat droid a laser carb or a DH17 etc. That is his dmg. Whatever the weapon smith can jiuce up. Yeah ok he's dies fast. Those guys do die EASY though, but he packs a punch. Make them low material cost to make. Just junk droids to throw into the frey. I still say giving Squad leader extra droids and or faction pets would put some real bite into that class. Like a CH for driods. That way he is his own squad....

I just looked those droids up starwars.com lists them as "battle droids".

A probot with 820 HAM, Medium armor and 40% resists can take 8200 points of damage to each HAM bar.

Don't forget that the beetle has a range attack and a posture down attack. Plus it has funny ticks.

Medium armor is 50% reduction, 50% reduction then the 40% reists. Net effect is only 10% of the damage hits a probot.

Net effect should be 15%, right, not 10%.

1) 50% reduction reduces hits to 50%.

2) 50% reduction reduces hits to 25%

3) 40% of 25% = 10%, but this is the amount ABSORBED by the armor leaving 15%.

So an 820 HAM probot can take 5,467 hits to each HAM bar.

BTW the 75% takedown does not apply to player-on-pet or pet-on-player. The 75% adjustment applies only to player-on-player damage.

Likewise the difference in observed damage has to do with seeing the damage numbers calculated before or after the armor offset. AFAIK observers see the "pre-armor" numbers, while actual participants see "post-armor" numbers.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Probot armor works with anything that doesn't have armor piercing ability. My probot tanks quite well against animals.
