I was about to start my own thread on this but didnt know which forum to post it in.

OMG SOE stop with the jedi screenshots you bunch of money hungry bastards, its bad enough that everyone who has had the game a few months is grinding to become a jedi but now every n00b who gets an account can come here and immediately they now have the desire to wield a glowstick.

What in the hell happened to your promise in writing to keep this class rare? I mean really, your company appears to be intentionally attempting to ruin this game.

You people complain too much. I cant beleive im hearing crap like "this games boring, everyones is grinding". This is honestly the funnest game ive played in my entire life(excluding goldeneye), and yes I too am doing holocrons, but im also doing other things that interest me. For example my holo told me chef, so Im doing chef and marksman at the same time. And about false advertising or whatever with the screenshots......... READ THE FAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You people complain too much.

This is how its meant to be. Playing Jedi is meant to be hard, now hard does notsimply =long. getting to master is only meant to be achieved by people who are good at pvp/pve, who are carefull with there abilities and who are willing to put in the huge amount of time involved. Getting to master is not meant to involvejustpatience, its meant to involve everything which i meantioned aboveand more.

The system is designed so that the jedi that constantly get killed and just can't take it anymore quit, which, if the system works should be the vast majotity of you. People like you who will quit after you die constantly are the people who will never get to master (nothing wrong with that), the people that do get to master are the people who do stick it out and are smart.

Anyway atm the system is buggered and we wont know fully how this all works out untill its live or at least until more TC testing is done. BTW i hope you werent refering to bh missions on jedi as griefing, its part of the game and its meant to be, but if you were refering to some bug that might be in it that allows griefing then im sure it'll only take the devs a few months to correct

I am opposed to PK'ing in any form. It's anti-social, harassment,and griefing in my opinion. It is, however, sanctioned by SOE much like it was in the beginning days of UO.

In this context, however, griefing refers to clone camping, and such exploits. I believe this system will change eventually, mmorgs always do change, and I'll play my Jedi accordingly until such time.

But what I really meant is that no Jedi will ever take part in PvP, show themselves off even a little, hunt with there PA or friends, nor make themselves visible whatsoever if at all possible.

In otherwords, we will simply seem to "disappear" from your radar, thua rendering the entire concept rather pointless, and many will do this until they are Master Jedi, or until the system changes yet again at some point.

And once again, I will finish the quote that is so often taken out of context: "Jedi is supposed to be very, very, very hard, but VERY REWARDING"

At this point there is no reward. We have force powers that we cannot use, if we're "smart" jedi. We have lightsabers that cant be viewed by other, if we're "smart" Jedi. We have friend but cannot play with them, if we're "smart." Jedi.

They got the hard part right, so where's the reward?

Without Jedi all the rest of the professions are meaningless... I mean come on, do you think someone really wants to sit around and play Droid engineer? (yes, my 2nd acct is a master DE)

lol....i made a sweet one of swimming storm troopers...i have yet to see it make the big time.... =/
