I'm confused as to why I'm seeing so many "MDE calling it quits" threads right about now. Our fixes, including the first combat droids, are coming in January. Quitting now is like quitting a marathon 5 feet short of the finish line! I know, I know, a lot of you find it hard to believe that we're going to get attention... but think about it.

Quitting now is like quitting a race that has already been extended for miles every time you think you're close. Fixes or not, it's just not fun crafting 15 R2 med droids a day and answering a dozen questions about what they do or how to name them.

"Heh, I knew some folks that played EQ. I also have read numerous articles on that game, I went into SWG not expecting to get any customer support. They can get away with it so they do. I'm not sure SOE provides customer support for ANY of their games."

The funny, but sad thing is I came into this game with the same mind set. Everytime I get mad about something going poof, I remember that I knew what I was getting into. With all the disapearing stuff, I almost quit last week... almost quit while laughing hysterically.

I have had items, vendor stuff, resourses, and harvestors disapear. Last week one day, almost all of those things went away for me. While sitting at my computer angry for the missing stuff, I said to myself.. "well the only thing left to disapear is my". I swear... not 20 minutes later my character did.

I was still in game, able to move, but my avatar was gone. I was running around like the invisible man. When I logged and try to get back in, the loading screen stuck right before the character ready.

It seems I deal with missing stuff on a daily basis, which usually comes back about 20 minutes later, and most times multiple occurances of this, that cost me an hour of my game play.

What I am starting to do now, is the first time something goes poof, I no longer play the log in log out, open the container 5 times game, I just log out and play b41942 or Jedi Academy. When my game play time starts to be 51% non SWG I will cancel...

Then make another resolution to never play a Verant/SOE game again(which is what I said when I quit EQ).
