Thread: Making Money as a New DE
There's two ways you can go about it (granted you won't make as much cash as selling resources, but it will get you droid xp while getting you credits, as well as get your name out there as a DE). For both of these to work you need to talk to a master DE. Some are willing to help out, some aren't, you should be able to find someone. Have them make some level 6 modules for you, then put them in your droids to sell. This will cut into your profits, but you'll still come out ahead and you start getting your name out there.
Conversely, you can find a master DE who is willing to buy chassis off you. This saves them the trouble of making them (though you will probably have to sell them pretty cheap) but you get xp (both for creating them and for them using thechassis if you are both online). This can be a big help.
Money? *chuckles* Money? ahaha! WHAT MONEY!?!? *gets carted off with after a last lunitic-style laugh*
Seriously though. You do not do droid for money or utility.
So far, the best solution I found was :
Get a small combat skill and do faction mission.
That give you money, combat xp and faction point you can use to have a usefull pet.
Beside that, selling ressources work the best.
I never counted on making much money as a DE.
Well, I have my harvesters up and running and I'lljust run combat or surveying missions when I'm running low on cash. Hopefully I can make some profit off of the resources I don't use.
Thanks for the advice.
I've actually been getting by selling droids. I don't make huge amounts of money, but I keep alive, even with travel and other expenses.
