Sorry about that my computer just messed up.
As i was saying............
Drashk once agian I have to say that your post keeps getting better but still i have a problem with section 8. I have come to the conclusion that Cert are not the way to go with limiting droids. Before I get into my idea I have a few reason way cerf are not going to work that good.
First of all if we used a cert system no matter how simple people are going to get upset because that can't call the best droids and then they will complain to DEVs who will end up neft the combat droids to make it far.
Secondly we must remember that unlike pets, who are living beings with a mind and instince of their own, droids are advance computers programed to follow comands. So if we can teach the lest technology savy person to use a pc thenthey should be able to use a Droid. It is true that most people know very little about how a computer work butthey can learn a few simple commands and those are what matters same thing with a droid.
So with these two ideas in mind lets us look at the problem that we will have with droids. If as theDEVs have stated that will limit players to a 1droid/pet/fation perk why not justuse that system to limit the number of droids a person can have.
Myidea is...
Every player should be alowed to call 1 non-combat droid which is all droids that avalibly today
In addition to that each player would get 1 droid of any type or 1 pet or 1 faction perk.
In reality this would mean that if start a new character today, and friend gave me a R2 droid, A kaddu mount, a Droideka, and I then joined the imp side a get an AT-ST. With these options I have the following posibilities
1 R2 droid and the Droideka
2. R2 droid and the Mount
3. R2 droid and the AT-ST
As we can see At any one time I could only have 1 combat droid out so this would eliminate the problem of huge droid armies and if they used the same limitation on players not matter their profession then their would be know way for people to comblain.
Before I finish I would like to make a recomindation about droid strength.
When they neft pets so that non-ch are limited to pets<chLvl 10 they should make all combat droids equal to chlvl 10 this way people could not complain about droids being to powerful, secondly MDE should have some type of perk for climbing the DE tree so with this in mind I would say that a MDE should have access to advance combat droids whose lvl should also be inline with MCH pet lvl. REmember CH is no more a combat class as DE nether one needs any combat xp so the top levels should be close to the same.
