I agree that there hasn't much in the way of communication, but we have to keep in consideration that the holiday season just passed for many SOE. Believe it or not, but the DE forum is the most frequently posted profession forum by any of the Red names. Thunderheart alone has made 47 posts to our forum in two months time. Of course the lines of communication have been kind of like my cable connection has been over the holidays, intermittent.
Since Gorantothhas retracted his application for the position, there are at least 2 main contenders for the position. If I'm not mistaken, a lot has to go into the process of picking the new correspondent, including a few legal issues (not 100% sure on this one, but it makes a lot of sense due to the sensitive nature of information being passed on.)
