Thread: Would you sell level 4 armor to a DE who can't make it?
when some asks me if I can train them
I reply I charge
if they proceed to ask how much
I say half the cost of the trainer and come to my waypoint
if they reply but I only have 1 to 303 credits range
I add them to ignore
its not like my training would have helped them do anything anyway
also.. people who have waled out to my house , to pay for training I generally dont bother charging them
I dont need the cash.

I cringe of giving a novice DE a general cluster with 110 med rating and food crafting station! I mean, you sell one of these to a customer and he won't buy anything else in his whole life! and a novice DE selling them a mouse droid with all that for 1.5k is hurting all of us!
I have only asked a higher DE for a part once, and it was a weapon/droid crafting module to build my own crafting droid. If someone comes asking me for something I can't make, I say 'sorry can't make that yet' and direct them to a higher DE around or offer him (if possible) the cheaper version I can actually make
I sell to those DE's that are unable to make the parts as well. It seems to have built a nice friendship between many and myself. Also if they have a customer that wants a droid they can't make I've had them send them to me so I get more profit from them.
But then again I harvest my own resources for the most part and sell the module to them at 3credits per resource required.
