I was lucky enough to find a friendly merchant on Bloodfin who sold me 10K of Vertex gems for a good price. Everyone else wanted a big price to part with any of it. I wish it was a totally different gemstone and not hoarded by armorsmiths for stun layers... It would be great if the DEVs spawned some vertex gemstone tomorrow to celebrate Publish 8 going live.

Hasn't been any Vertex on Flurry in over 120 days. And that stuff was OQ 98. I checked the popular vendors here on Flurry, and no Vertex to be found.

Radiant is no better though I found a vendor with some Vertex, cost a fortune, and I lucked out that I have some Tolium that I got months ago, poor stats though.

lemme make sure i got this right... stats matter on the tolium for detonation modules (got some 1000oq of that ) but dont matter for the vertex - for survey droid... right?

96,268 Tolium Reactive Gas DR: 915 OQ: 936 (Detonation mods)
12,000 Carbonite Steel SR: 910 UT: 904 OQ: 470 ( Planetary survey droids)
I am pretty much set, and I have about 4 harvesters on some carbonite Steel that is rather HQ but its not as good as what I got 12k of. no go on OQ for the carbonite steel, boo hoo

I managed to scrape togeather 200k of excellent vertex, and then BAM i realize i have no carbonite steel. I can think of a 4 letter word that would express myself rather astutely.

Yep, Im in the same boat Gron. No Vertex and the Publish upon us. Any other servers out there missing Vertex? Or is it only Corbantis?

Last I checked (last night) we were still missing Vertex. Last spawn was a month ago and it was total crap.

Plenty of Vertex here on Inrepid but the only Tolium anyone has a OQ of 2(two).

looks like nobody is getting all 3 :/ man this stinks we had vertex 2 months ago (via swgcraft check) and had i knew then about pub 8 id have mined the heck out of it, wasnt until 2 weeks ago we knew about them in the survey droids :/

I think I managed to pick up everythign I need (found a vendor with 100k vertex and 100k tolium for 3cpu each the other day). I may be low on some of the other random ones, but I should be able to pick them up.
