So does that mean Archs will soon be able to build Tardisfor the space expansion? And I have yet to see a scarf in game, will it be a quest item?

I think this part of the post was misspoken. I am betting that the Combat Module will have 6 Levels, just like all the other modules with varying ratings. So a hard to make Combat Module Level 6 would do the most damage and can go into a BLL. But if you want a kickbutt R unit and don't have the ability to make CM L6 modules, you start stacking lower Level modules together to get up to that Level 6 cap.

Yes, that makes FAR more sense.

Then we can throw in a barking module to constantly yell, "EXTERMINATE!"

OMG!! Lol, I didn't even think of this !!But itis so true!How many of us are big enough geeks to even know whata Dalak is ?

/emote raises his had.

Of course I do understand why people would have problems with the R2s-as-Daleks, this isn't a Doctor Who MMORPG.

Perhaps....that would make sense, but I doubt it, since they are talking about stacking. No, they specifically say that while yes, it will go in regular module sockets, only certain droids will be able to have them. So this means new droids, geared towards combat, with that many sockets, is my guess. I'm in love with this, I can't even explain how much...there are things that could be different in a perfect world, but the way they gave us the core of what we really want while not jeopardizing other professions is ASTOUNDING. I hope you are all as excited as I am

Not sure if you know this, but stacking two modules together produces 1 module with higher stats. For example, if you had 2x Level 4 armor modules installed, your droid would have level 6 armor total. Theoretically, if you had 5x Level 2armor modules installed, you would also get level 6 armor total. All the functions are supposed to be capped at Level 6, but you can use lower level modules to stack together to get you to Level 6. I believe it was also mentioned that the Combat Module would fall into the General Module Slot and that R units were reportedly "fixed" to be able to shoot on the Test Center. So, here's a not so pretty picture:

Advanced Probot Droid

* 2 General Module Slots

* 1x Level 6 Combat Module

* 1x Blah blah extra module

Probot Droid

*Zero General Module Slots

*Equivalent to a pre-patch BLL but floats instead of walks

That's our tax dollars hard at work.

Guess I was wrong. 6 Combat Modules at the max rating (100%) is needed to make the hardest hitting combat droid. Looks like they also said that Combat Modules fall into the General Module Slots too. So basically our R3 Advanced Unit will be the shiznit in combat.

We must also keep in mind that we are debating the exact meaning of words utterred by TH regarding the DE profession. I mean no offense by this butTH has a clear history of mincing his words and not realizing that what he said isn't what he meant to say whenever he speaks about this profession. Taking his words on this pointliterally is quite unwise me thinks.

Don't over-speculate just yet. As soon as the push is live on TC, Drashky and the other TC DEs will be all over it.

the notes say that combat modules can go in droids that "are combat capable", which in and of itself tells us in the very least that there exist droids that are not combat cabable.
