I am all for fixing the uxp bug and adding more working droid content, but you have to be kidding if you expect the droid crafting xp requirements to be dropped so that you can level to master droid engineer in a day or two. Try to remember thatthis game is about the processof becoming a well rounded character. If you are going to stay up day and night for a week straightfirst grindcrafting muzzles thengrind crafting mouse droids, fine. That's your prerogative. But don't expect the devs to make that enjoyable for you. It's just not how the game was intended to be played. I am a droid engineer and am having alto of funexploring other various professions while working my way up different skill trees. I think it would be a real shame if the devs lowered the droid crafting xp requirements and there were 100's of master droid engineers running around.

I just had to respond to this post and I'm sorry if I'm repeating someone else on the 5 pages i didn't get to. This game is not necessarily about the process of becoming a well rounded character. As I've posted before I think this game will be more fun once the mastering process is done with. And yes. I believe that the droid crafting requirements should be dropped no kidding.

He says he's a droid engineer having fun exploring other various professions... Could that be because working your way up the droid engineer was so hard and tedious you had to seek alternative professions to find enjoyment? This game has HUGE potential even with 100s of droid engineers running around. I for one am not worried about competition on the market because i'm only wanting to make droids for myself. I want to control droids, I don't want to pound out 300+ mouse droids for one level.

1) You can hardly give away mouse droids. No one wants them

2) There's no way to avoid the grind for engineer. Whether you're working for 3 months or a week of no sleep. There is no way that you will eventually in the course of your "being a droid maker having fun exploring" time that you will ever craft 300+ droids. The only way to advance is to specifically sit down and grind away making these useless droids. You have to grind to advance and I oppose that

I too got novice droid engineer last night after 5 hours of grinding. At least that xp was general crafting and had I wanted I might have legitimately earned that without grinding. It was an accomplishment but when i saw that it was 48,000 to the next box and the number of droids and amount of resources needed.... i quit. I can't do that. I'll just wait until it's fixed and if it never is I'll just stop playing. I can't believe how hard the next level is and I won't waste my time on such a mindless activity. One thing is for sure. There is no way that this NezVersi is having fun exploring and continuing in his droid engineering. It definately needs a lot of work.

p.s. It's too bad the developers don't read these

Heya Kord!

Less xp to master the skill? Hmm... tough one. Not sure I really want the competition. I agree the xp curve is totally whacked, but I kinda like how it discourages others.

Hmm but if others get totally discouraged, there will be no one else to complain about how nerfed droid engineer is later on. Ok, I'll sign the petition. :-)

ps. There is a ray of hope.Once you get your act together you can mass producedroids with a factory, and still get full xp for the droids. The only thing which isa hasle is getting all the minerals.

The experience requirements aren't the problem. I don't mind it being difficult to get that high....

But therein lies the problem. It isn't "difficult." It's tedious. Difficulty suggests you invest a lot. Tedious means you invest a little, but you have to do it over a large period of time.

Keep the experience requirements where they are, but make each droid harder to produce, but offer much, much more experience. Oh, and make EVERY droid useful!! I can't stress this enough. Nothing ruins a profession more than having useless items....in ours, a majority are useless, with the only occasional useful one coming at the higher levels (Probot). Pretty much all our other droids are a joke.

By greatly raising the experience gains and upping the resources needed to produce, as well as making droids actually useful from the very beginning....we will see people enjoying their advancement more. Each droid will be a work of art, rather than another "Craft, delete" grind towards the next set of blueprints, and then the next, and then the next (which is when you are useful).

It simply isn't right that I need to spend thousands upon thousands of resources to net the 200,000 experience needed to get to the Probot, which is the only useful droid we have.

I agree on several counts , that the mouse droid while neat to look at is pretty much a useless droid. The XP grind has been horrible. Its costing everything I have and all my game time in an attempt to get to a more useful droid. Put the cost of resources in with the fact that the automated exctractors dont function like they should and are also horribly expensive to maintain. Makes an attempt at getting crafting XP a true burden we are facing. Just my thoughts.

For everyone arguing that we need to get exp slow. Why are Architects (i dont know about the smiths) getting exp so much faster?

I totally agree that we should use more resources per droid and have higher exp as well so we dont have saturation on the market. But I'd give this idea up if they just fixed the UXP sometime soon. I know that they're fixing stability and such, and thats why i'm giving the game at least 3 months to shape up. Not like anyone cares though, heh.

I did however find setting up patrol points and then having a mouse droid patrol the area advertising mildly amusing and gratifying though. Heh heh.

I agree with Higher Complexity / More Resources

This should give higher XP and reduce saturation of market.

Please fix UXP.
