A Note on Resource Use:

Once you have advanced droid blueprints and can make the advanced frame, you need 1,113,600 more droid experience points to hit master. An advanced droid frame gives 460 experience points,483 in practice mode, and takes 150 units of steel and 70 units of fiberplast to make. You need to craft 2306 advanced drod frames in practice mode to get the experience needed. This means you wil burn 345,900 units of steel, and 161,420 units of fiberplact after you hit advanced droid blueprints.

This kind of posts are more useful than the sum of the other posts on this thread. Somebody change the title of this thread to "Introduction to Macroing" please. Cause it's a macro discussion threadinstead ofa DE grinding thread. My 5 stars for Sketh.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to thank all people who have contributed to this thread. I've found it very helpful so far in my journey from Novice Droid Engineer. I know six months ago, there was a demand for MDE's on Scylla, but I'm not sure what state it's in at the moment. Needless to say, I'm back online, and still reaching for MDE, with much help from this thread.

See you all around.

Sombody said something about this guide being hologrinding or taking the fun out of the prof. In my opinion, proffesions arnt fun UNTIL you master them. Mastering is never fun for me.... Its all about grinding. So i think this is a good guide. Have fun after your master.

Hrm.. this is a great thread, only problem is I simply cannot find the schematic number for Adv Droid Frame. It's like everything above 139 or so defaults to that manipultor arm package set. I can't find a working schematic number for them...

Anyone know how to fix this?

Well, I trained a skill and it appeared at draft 147 suddenly. However, after I trained Master Artisan it shifted to 158. I noticed it was 12 less than the 'repeating' upperlimit one which helped find it for me.

Perhaps it's the same for everyone? Adv Droid Frame will be 12 less than whatever the last schematic you have is?

At Intermediate Droid Blueprints, you can either keep on crafting MSE or you can switch to Manipulator Arm Package Sets. The Manipulator Arm Package Sets require 65 metal, 18 ferrous metal, 60 extrusive ore, and 15 chemical. They net 331 XP while in practice mode and 316 XP while producing an item in your inventory. If you chose the Manipulator Arm Package Sets route, it will take 203 successful builds to make it to Advanced Droid Blueprints or approximately 14300 metal,3960 ferrous metal, 13200 extrusive ore, and 3300 chemical. If you chose to stick with the MSE grind it will take you 458 successful crafting sessions and approximately 26500 metal and 7500 chemcial to advance to the next level. You will want to trainExpert Droid Blueprints, in order to find the next fastest way to progress.

This is wrong. I did this this morning and all I got was one box out of it.

The only thing that has changed a bit was the change to the w/g/d tool and what schematics that it will pull up. Other than that, this little gem still is going strong.

BTW - Thanks to all of the positive feedback from everyone and the all of the offered assistance that stemed from the original thread. Makes this humble DE proud to be part of such a great community.
