would make sense since every other trade as droid that can be used to carry out crafting type event whilst not at a crafting station.

I just thought of an idea... if Medic/Doctor have Medic Droid, Entertainer has Recorder/Dazzle-like droid, Scout/Non-scout have harvestor droid, combat profession have tank droid, why not:


ID'rs have ID Droid so they can be free to roam around to meet client, RATHER than having the client COMING to the tent?


Just an idea... what you all think?

Change that to have the client come to the ID anywhere rather than make the ID come to the tent and I like it

It's a good idea but I'd be worried that we'd then see empty (and needless) ID tents....


If they did this, I suspect that the ID would get some kind of subset of the benefits that a tent can give, so that there'd still be a reason to have/use tents.

If a good way to twist this idea around could accomplish that, I'd say that gives the idea even more 'legs'.

Well all the ID tents do really is allow the changes to go faster. Unless I am mistaken, you can do pretty much any of the changes outside the tent, they just take longer.


So just make the ID droid a happy medium between the 2 time wise.

If i know it correct the only thing a ID can't do outside of the tent is the Stat Migration...


How about reducing the timer for all other changes and let the tents have the Stat Migration?


Or if you want to exaggerate, you could add some things a ID can not do without a droid, like the 110 Medic bots...


On the funny side:

If you think about it... how do ID's work anyway? They dont even need tools to do their work... Ever seen a hairstylist do their magic without even scissors?

Actually an ID can do stat migration outside of a tent, it jsut takes 10 minutes, instead of the 2 it takes in a tent.

Wrong, in the tent, stat migration takes 10 minutes, and outside the tent it can't be done. All other ID stuff can be done outside the tent but takes twice as long. I have been working hard on ID since Saturday. I have learned that.

Ok how about this revised idea:


ID Tent:

Timer remain the same for all changes/stat mig


Outside of ID Tent:

1. Allow ID to "make" a tent if they wanted (if they dont have droid) almost like a Ranger making camp

2. Allow new droid for ID'rs like the medic, but with bonus like the medic, the higher the bonus droid, the timer is reduced, otherwise outside of the tent timer remains the same as ID Tent times 2.

I completely agree with TK on this one. Itsa good idea, but making a droid module that was similar to a tent function would need some major restrictions so that Salons did not become obsolete. We already see a lot of this with certain Medical Centers because of Medical modules. The DEVs have resisted the idea of creating an Entertainers module that functions like a Medical module, because they don't want to see Cantinas empty out.


Another factor to look at is the demand on this module. If we are going to be alloted development time, would an ID module be something that would justified in the face of some other module, or bug fix?


Sorry if I'm seeming negative, which I'm not. I'm just trying to point out factors that need to bethoughtof when suggesting ideas. Good Idea though.
