Thread: My first day as a DE.
To preface this, I play on TC. We are having trouble trading items, we have tried every fix, the only thing that worked was using the factory hopper to trade. Then someone suggested using the droid storage to trade items. So I whip up an MSE with a storage module, IT WORKED, you cant believe how happy I was, So I set up shop outside of the local PA hall, "Come get your TradeBot, Free while supplies last", Everyone is getting droids, people are happy, I love this proffesion.![]()
And see we DE are useful for something, and so are those obnoxious MSE bots.
*chuckle*
Now if only all trading could be broken on all the other servers too....
we have a hidden crew of people .. rebel and imp alike. that set aside our differances, and behind closed doors we have been using a generic pa halls lower floor..
set up a track, and you gessed it
SLOT CAR RACING
10 mse all differnet names and colors... all ready to race via their waypoints..
10k entry fee
set the patrol points.. and when the ref says go.. go...
all MSE get 1 warmup lap, as they dont allways start at the first waypoint.. and any that fail to do the course insde the lines get shot and killed by the ref..
winner takes 50%
2nd place 30%
3rd place breaks even
rest to house

The holocron has led me to the find path of DE. The biggest question is.... Will anyone want my 100's of mouse bots? I also had no idea till now how much xp is needed for this crazy profession. Lots of time, lots of money and so far I don't know how much profit can be turned.
Mad props to all of the hard core DEs out there.
It really does depend on how rich you are and if you are planning on keeping DE after you've mastered it... I guess you will more than likely use another holocron, get another profession and drop DE
TBH do mouse droids on practice mode until you can make advanced droid frame units in the blueprints skill tree, then advanced droid frame units until master. Look to use around 500k steel and 250k fiberplast.
took me a week to get master. you need to get lvl 2 blue prints then buy about 1million credits worth of steel, and fiberplasts. should be around let me think back. 500,000 units steel and 300,000 units fiberplasts. You need to make advanced driod frame units on pratice mode you get 140 xp each. Took me 3 days once i got the materials to grind to master. Goodluck

only 140 xp?? nope, I get 467 xp for each advanced droid frame unit on practice mode. And, if you feel like doing the math, each unit uses 150 steel and 70 fiberplast, so you can figure out how much resources you need to get to Master

The Danceman needs Master DE to be a Jedi?
What a cruel and ironic galaxy we live in...
Dance: Follow the guidance of the others above. Steel and Fiber are your friends (in large quantities).
No one will want your MSEs...don't even try. Make Blueprints 1 and 2 first (some go all the way to 4 first).

Respectfully,
Welcome to life as a DE. At least your holocron didn't tell you to be a chef. Try makinga profit there.
The only thing I can suggest to do with all those MSE droids is to save the Star Wars universe by destroying them.
danceman! After all our little quarrels on here in the past, it's bitter Irony you end up following my path... As much as I also want a FSCS I don't think I will ever get it, as I will continue to roleplay my character, but never giving up DE (unless my character thinks it best) and I still feel that playing the game true to yourself is still deserving of a Jedi.
Good luck in your quest. I'm always available for questions.
